Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.

Great location in North Sydney above the train station. My room was facing North Sydney offices, but the other side of the hotel has views over Sydney Harbour.

Sadly the TV's weren't working in most of the building for the 4 days we stayed. The staff did not communicate about this to us on arrival which was disappointing. I was given a free room upgrade after 2 days and also given a voucher for a free cocktail on my last day. These things happen so it's not the staff's fault.

The breakfast was WONDERFUL! Each day the choice of hot dishes varied. Spoilt for choice with large selection of food. SO enjoyable.

On the night we stayed there were issues with the internet which meant we had no wifi or even any tv for the afternoon and the whole night. As it was raining we couldn’t go out and just had to stay in the room. After a 10 hour flight all we wanted was to relax and have a quiet night and watch s as bit of tv. No compensation or even a free drink in the bar was offered

Bit noisy from the trains.

The best thing was that we have arrived during morning and could have checked in - really nice staff, thank you. Hotel is close to city center, with nice view on harbour.

The TV did not work and other guests said the TV in their rooms had not worked for 2 days. Hopefully they will fix it. Room Service took forever but they gave me a complementary glass of wine to make up for that. So that was nice.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. The room was clean. The view was exceptional.

I was woken at 3am by machinery - from the highway below. I didn't get back to sleep. Fortunately I was able to change rooms for the next night. It was a pity I didn't have this room from the start.

Big comfortable beds, nice size rooms. A great bar with a good selection of beverages for happy hour and great cocktails. Clean rooms, with an option for a late checkout. Very friendly and helpful staff. They make a fantastic breakfast and dinner. Good location close to the city and the train station and a fantastic view of Sydney Harbor.

The image that illustrated the type of the room we booked and paid for strongly implied that room came with a view across Sydney Harbour. Unfortunately, it didn't, instead having a view across the Pacific Highway and up Walker St. Nth. Sydney. Perhaps View should take more care with the use of visual descriptions.

There must be a nightclub close as I could hear loud music late Friday night coming from somewhere pretty close, which was more annoying than anything else.

Views were amazing. Great location. Easy to walk to ferry which takes you straight to darling Harbour. Bed was super comfy. The food at restaurant was delicious. Staff were friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We ordered the same food at the bar both nights - first night it was fantastic and the service was awesome however on the second night the food was not as well cooked and bar staff weren’t as friendly.

Not many restaurants nearby and the guest parking charge was high. The streets surrounding the hotel are all quite steep and a number of roads to cross to get to shops.

Comfortable with good size room and bathroom. Good bed and big screen TV. The restaurant and bar were good with great views of the harbour bridge. Breakfast was usual fare, with plenty of options. Good location on the north sydney side, easy 20min walk to the ferry for circular quay. Shopping stores nearby for any essentials and take away food.

The Bathroom does not reach the standard of 4 star, too small and I did not see the ventilation work. Fitness is okay, it would be great if a few dumbbells can be set up.

Really nice view from the room! Particularly night view of Sydney bridge! Breakfast is awesome and you can enjoy the fabulous views while having breakfast!

I was on level 1 with a harbour bridge view but the noise from the trains was constant, sounded like planes taking off.

Location great for ease of transport, walking and the view was lovely. Breaky was good.

View was excellent, bathrooms and amenities were very clean. Beds were comfortable and the TV in the room was very good too!

No fan in the bathroom which was kind of strange. Also took us 24 hours to work out how the automatic lights in the room worked.

Room on Level 4 was fantastic. View amazing, especially at night it was mesmerising. Great location next to North Sydney train station. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and pillows so good. I slept so well and ready for the next day of sightseeing. Highly recommend this location for ease of access, comfort, clean and good value for so being so close to CBD.
