How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lifts were slow at times - apartment a bit musty - perhaps balcony doors need to be opened occasionally to allow fresh air in.

The view over roof tops. Kitchen could do with some containers for cooking. Close to queen Street mall.
Staff were very nice. Close to shops and restaurants.

The room was a little musty presumably due to the humidity and the lifts could be very slow at times.
Great location, convenient for transport etc, friendly and welcoming staff, rooms well set up for looking after yourself and fit a family or two couples really well. Coffee Club downstairs also was very nice.

was a little run down, broken door handles, rusty bits here and there, bathroom towels were dirty (stained ) - when we went in the room it was like house keeping had been but forgot to come back and put everything away (all Cupboards open, couch cushions on floor, bins and toilet brush on top of toulet)
the room size was good (bedroom apartment) nice enclosed balcony, excellent location and parking on site was so easy - pools open late

We had to move rooms due to a musty smell that was overpowering, which the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, after a short period, the next room smelt the same. Possibly carpet not dried properly after cleaning.
The location was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. Great views. Amazing Pillows and really good water pressure.

Great location very central to Brisbane`s CBD. We stayed in two-bedroom apartment that had two bathrooms all clean and great space. Beds were comfortable and met our expectations. Second time staying here and will definitely book again.

We didn't like the water saving shower rose. Not a pleasant shower experience however I do understand why they use water savers. I also thought it was very expensive $430 for the room for one night, probably more expensive due to Pink in town.
Spacious apartment, it was comfortable, view was amazing as we were on the 38th floor.

The price of food and beverages is quite expensive especially when there is no other restaurants or coffee shops close by as an alternative.
The room was very clean and modern with a great view. The bathroom was a little small but renovated and very clean.

Some of the equipment was old or damaged. Eg; the iron board. Had to wait until 7pm to get the second bed set up. It should have been set up when we checked in.

Our room smelt like damp carpet and the room needed a little more of a deep clean. Like air vents and behind the doors on the carpet.
This venue was close to the shopes and bus stations as we were there for a concert.

The towels had little blood marks and black stains. There was a cigarette burn and big blood stain on one of the outdoor chairs too which was gross.
Loved that there was a balcony to get fresh air. The accommodation and location were lovely. Staff very friendly.

The smell. Stale and mouldy
The smell of our room was disgusting. It smelt stale and mouldy. It was hard to sleep because of the overpowering odour. The staff were friendly and the unit looked great. Nothing compensated for the smell.
