Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaThe bed was horrible!! I could feel the springs and it was not comfortable at all. The 'blanket' felt like rubber, definitely not cosy to the touch, so much that I needed to rip it off in the middle of the night. Thankfully there was another blanket which was as bad in the cupboard. Plus the pillows were so hard. I asked at reception for softer pillows though was advised these were all they had.
The food/drink vouchers were the best - especially after a big day out it is great to relax at the restaurant then walk to your room. Biscuits in the room were a nice touch too.

AustraliaI had 2 very early wakeups. One was caused by noisy neighbors who were not too considerate of other guests. I think they were all construction workers going by high viz and work apparel. Maintenance works on property by contractors started early on a Friday morning meaning an early wake-up. Luckily, I was not there on holiday so no big problem.
The room, rooftop restaurant and street front restaurant were great. All staff from checkin to checkout were great. The room was very clean and tidy.

The pool and bar area were amazing, was definitely more of a resort than a hotel. We loved the place, its atmosphere and staff were so friendly and helpful. We are going to put this one on our return trips to Townsville!
