Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Price, staff, and bar. Happy service in the hotel bar area. Light and airy relaxed sitting and refreshment areas.

AustraliaI suspect changes under new manager. It was my favourite. But I'm not so sure now. The staff do their best. Vinyl mattresses. Less room servicing. No electric jug in rooms. The fridge in the common area is tiny and always overflowing.

AustraliaTiny community fridge of no use as always full. They are getting very tight on servicing the room. On the 5th day, I had to leave a note on the cleaner's door. As a regular, this is becoming worse under new manager.
Staff, under the management, are great and helpful. Clean and tidy bar. There is plenty of bottled water at the bar. Free parking, mostly on site. Generally, the shared washroom is clean, especially in the afternoon. Some people are very dirty despite the good cleaners.

Which caused me to end up paying $70 in Ubers I could have just booked a nice hotel to stay at for the amount of money I ended up paying due to their error. Messaged the owners with no response. Would not stay here again. The bed was rock solid and the paint was peeling of the roof and walls with specs of mould present…
The women who was on lovely lady can’t remember her name was the only good thing about this place. The venue advertises the wrong address which I was able to prove with evidence. Messaged the venue owners with no reply the staff is the only thing keeping this place a float.

AustraliaRoom much smaller than expected (not in accordance with photos). Old structure, the door creaked and made an absurd noise (it was impossible to go to the bathroom without waking up the other person). Cleanliness was OK, but definitely could be improved. Value for money not so good.

AustraliaSome people on my last 2 visits are filthy in the shared wash room facilities. Untidy in the dining area and hellishly noisy in the hallways while always slamming doors. Some illegal private cooking was going on in the rooms, stinking the hallways. My previous visits were quite the opposite and quiet enough. Towels are changed less often now, and no hand towels were supplied on my last two visits. However, staff do their best within their management rules.
Location for me is good. But for tourists, you need to drive for food or order in. Jug, micro, and mini fridge in dining room. Staff are great and very helpful.

Walking distance from Granville train station. Easy to commute to Sydney Olympic Arena or anywhere in city. Its got a old school unexpensive sports bar. I checked in very late around 11.30 Pm and the entrance doors were closed but the staff was answerable on phone and did a quick check-in.
