Rooms could do with some sound insulation so you can't hear neighbours snoring. Pool could be open past 8pm for adults only.

Rooms are well placed and pool was relaxing. Love the kitchen and BBQ area. Car park was tidy

Loved our short stay at Skippers. My husband and I went to Dundee to enjoy some rest and just relax. Skippers was the perfect choice. Ben was the friendliest host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend Skippers to anyone looking for some time out… and for those wanting a fishing adventure I have no doubt a Skippers fishing trip would be the best in Dundee!!

We forgot milk, so a small carton would have been a bonus. Otherwise no faults!

Everything! View, bed, staff, cleanliness, location, offerings. Big space for kids to run. A fantastic little retreat Courtesy phone call prior to arrival. Friendly owner Ben came to say hello. A rare find these day. Wish our stay was much longer. Definitely coming back next trip to Darwin.

The room a little small (double room) but the outside area made up for that and plus you only sleep in the room most the time your outdoors.

the location was fantastic, outdoor area was superb, it had everything you needed. Great view of the sunset. Very relaxing & enjoyed the small pool, entertaining area, peaceful. BBQ and good size kitchen. Close walk to the local pub and had a nice lunch. Definately will let my friends know all about it and I will be back

I booked through booking.com and booked for our 1 year old grandson, when we got there they had booked him his own room away from us which was ridiculous 🙄 The lovely man at Skippers sorted it and we put him in our room in portacot. My issue was when I was booking it, it added a extra $170 for him. The money is being reimbursed so that's not the issue, it's the booking system. It's very confusing

Skippers was fantastic! Very comfortable and homely place, great communal areas/kitchen, pool and the best beachfront/ sunset views! CK and BK the owners are awesome people, very welcoming and really looked after us. Would definitely recommend! We will be back!

the rooms were a bit small and have no closet or hook to hang clothes.

The best part is the nature cruise. We get to see dolphins, crocodiles and eagles. We get to try out fishing and we caught a big catfish. We also caught several mud crabs. The owner cooked the crabs with chilli source that was so delicious. The rooms were very clean and we get to use their kitchen and living room. It was a great 2 days stay.

Liked everything

What's there to not love about this place,the hostes are very welcoming and happy to share local knowledge. The view from the verandah is incredible while sitting in the comfortable chairs, you could easily sit there with a book, a wine or games and stare out to the ocean. Skippers is a 300m walk along the waterfront to The Lodge for a drink or meal, if you prefer to eat out. Highly recommend you ask about the boat tours, amazing experience, especially as the sun sets. This place makes you slow down and enjoy all that it is surrounded by.

There was nothing we did not like.

Our stay was way above our expectations. We so loved the view and location. The kitchen was more than adequate and the bbqs were a really nice touch and performed exceptional. We were made to feel welcomed by the staff of Mick and Sue and what lovely people they are. A must place to stay on Dundee beach. Also the local butcher should get a mention as well As and we will return. Regards Brett and Carolyn.
