Nothing could be better. Host was very friendly and personally walk us through the property. He shared with us all the hidden gems around the area. It could probably use a more powerful A/C and a washing machine as we were there in Summer but apart from these "nice-to-have", we don't have any complains or negative experience.

The place is located at the picturesque part of the Hunter Valley and the less travel part of the tourist belt. There're hardly any traffic and we get to enjoy the view, sunset and local vineyard scenes at our own pace.

As we arrived late in the evening we would have been happy to pay extra to have some breakfast items provided in the cabin. That would have been a lovely touch and it is something we have experienced previously at other Hunter Valley cabins. Local eggs, bacon, condiments, sourdough etc.

The location was amazing. Tranquil location and stunning views. The owners were wonderful, helped with information about the property and recommended some local restaurants and places to visit. The property is close to everything yet feels like you are completely isolated from it all. The property had everything you could need and want and the peacefulness was perfect. We loved it and will be back again.

Loved the layout of the place and the lovely gifts left for us upon arrival! The bed was comfortable, everything was spacious and we had plenty of facilities (including kitchen appliances) to be able to ‘live’ there comfortably.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Thulanathi. We get to walk around the property with Bluey - the owners' dog, and spent some quality time with nature. The hosts are lovely and very helpful! We hope to have this as our yearly visits!

Lack of phone reception.

The property was close to amenities yet quiet and peaceful away from the road. Being the only accommodation on the property meant we only shared with the hosts so it felt like it was all ours.

There is nothing I didn’t like however I would say to spice it up even more and get that true “house in the woods” feel… add fluffy house coats or robes to the property as this would have been amazing to wear by the fire! also people can bring their own but just adds value to the experience!

Everything! The house itself is so cool and defiantly a place you feel refreshed and more in touch with you afterwards! The house was very lovely and gave my partner and I very detailed information about good hikes, wineries and even the history of the house!

A charming cottage set in a a very peaceful garden. The owners are extremely helpful and ensure the cottage is well presented.

The bed was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs which would not have been a problem when younger however as an older person that was a bit problematic.

I liked the friendliness of our host, nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the complimentary wine and eggs and other goodies. The stone cottage was interesting and I like hearing the history of it.

A great location that is close to everything you want to see, surrounded by beautiful gardens and rural scenery with kangaroos on your door step. The house is amazing with great amenities and a very comfortable bed. The hosts Stephan & Karen are absolutely lovely and leave you with a feeling like you are part of the family. Very secluded romantic getaway that will not disappoint. Highly recommend .

We were met by the hosts and showed around the house and how to use heating etc. They were happy to share further information and recommendations about the local area. There was a quick guide to the house and stay, as well as a local map that guests had indicated good local wineries and attractions they had enjoyed.
