This hotel was a little dreamy-romantic-looking. The antiques are real, and the artwork is museum quality. We were lucky enough to book the least expensive room in the building, and I didn't mind that a bit! I recently watched "In Bruges" and this is the featured hotel, but the movie was made in 2008 and has clearly been renovated amazingly since then. It is now far prettier than the movie, with a tone-on-tone french chic aesthetic. Come for the location; stay for the fantasy. The staff was exceptionally kind, intentional and helpful.

A fabulous hotel situated in a perfect location on the canal of Bruges, and a very short walk to the market square. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and is charming in character. The room we stayed in exceeded our expectation and was wonderful. Front of house staff are incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable of local area. Nothing was too much trouble - a big thank you to each and every one of them. Thank you - we will return.

We wished the bed wasn’t split. Very small hallway leading to our room- but nothing that detracts from the overall experience.

Staff was phenomenal in helping make restaurant reservations and recommendations. Super clean. We loved tea or coffee in the salon or brought to our room whenever requested. Overall delight.

My only complaint is that they deliberately do not give you a key to the main gate as per the rules of the hotel. They tell you that there is always a receptionist who will buzz you in. But whenever you get to the main gate, the receiption is empty and it takes some time for someone to get up, walk to the reception and buzz you in. During those 20 seconds, you are waiting in the cold, wondering why they have such an annoying rule.

Everything was amazing, there’s nothing negative to say about this place. Maybe the price per day with breakfast is quite expensive. Other than that, it’s perfect.

Everything was special at Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce. Amazing service, wonderful room, great location and an exceptional atmosphere overall. It highlights the whole Bruges experience!

Not critical, but noticed a few things that should be fixed and improved, such as the broken window handle that was not allowing you to close it fully and you still can hear noises and wind coming through. The spider net was all over the bathroom window corners. Also, nice bedside tables had no handles as well, so it makes it almost impossible to open/use.

Very good location in the heart of the city, 5 minutes(walking) away from majority of the sightseeing. Nice and supportive staff. Good breakfasts with a nice view on the canal. The interior is great and stylish. I love fresh flowers in the lobby.

Only one issue at the end of our stay. We were supposed to have a cab take us to the train station but the cab never arrived. It was a small inconvenience but we did not mind walking the city one last time :)

Breakfast was fantastic the room was perfect and a perfect temperature the whole time. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and made it an unforgettable experience. The location was the best in Bruges.
