“It was a blessing in disguise to stay at the Saarschleifenlodge when at check out, it turned out that due the heavy rain the only access road to the lodge was flooded - we could not leave and we were forced to stay another day. Luckily all the staff handled this super well and took really good care of us. We weren't even charged for the forced extra night, even if they easily could have done so. An outstanding example of hospitality as it should be, I would recommend everyone to stay here - also for the nice clean rooms, great food and drinks, amazing scenery, beautiful hikes and 'end of the world' feel of the place. Amazing value for money.”
