It is old hotel but functional. Facilities are outdated and I would not recommend it for leasure. However if you need to just over sleep it's a good option.

Traffic noise

Relatively close to highway. 24-hour reception. We were able to check out at 5am in order to get an early start driving. The hotel was a good stopover for us on a long drive. Although dated, the rooms were clean. Large grocery store (and some other shops) within walking distance. I liked the cost effectiveness of being able to get two twin rooms instead of having to get two double rooms.

The family room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable. In general both the bedroom and the bathroom were clean. The breakfast was super with many options :) It is a huge plus, that the check-in is flexible. The staff was nice and helpful as well.

Nobody seems to be able to speak English. The room was not really clean and carpet looked heavily used. Otherwise staff was nice and room was cheap so a strong 8 out of 10.

The door to the terrace had a strange way to open it...you had to push/press it, then turn a small knob...this was difficult...it didn't have a normal handle...but the person from the reception from the afternoon program (a young man) was very kind and helped us several times with great kindness. We thank him!

Every year since 2006, we come in autumn to visit the city of Passau because we like it very much. I stayed in a comfortable apartment, on the ground floor with an exit to a small terrace with a table and two chairs. It was nice to spend the evening outside in front of the apartment. The staff at the reception was very kind. The breakfast was very good and varied. The meatballs were very good. I liked that there was also watermelon and melon as fresh fruits. The coffee was very good.

Small room on noisy street, above parking lot with tables for smokers and loud talkers late into the night. Frequent ambulance sirens. Beware of weekday loud road construction. Room: basic: no tea kettle, no fridge, and one plastic glass for two people, stained carpet. Saw bottles of water on housekeeping cart, but wasn’t included in our room. If you want breakfast, book ahead because price is prohibitive onsite. Given quotes of 14-17e pp. Bottom line: would try somewhere else. Note to cyclists: hotel is 2k uphill from the train station.

Front desk staff friendly. Good grocery store with a short walk has seating areas for eating. Brick oven pizza at Padu, across the street, was very good.

The room and the hotel are a bit outdated. Also the location is quite far from the city center and you really depend on your car to get to the center.

The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Parking was available in the garage under the hotel.

Extra cost for parking. I.arrived fairly late and found street parking 10mins away. Also be aware not much near hotel, and centre is a good 30min walk away (and uphill on way back)

I had to move the armchair to the door, the wifi was not pnetrating threough the steel reinforced concrete walss :).!

Huge room or let me say appartment! There were french bad plus sofa and armchair, so it was a great room! Clean comfortable with french windows!

The bed was too soft, there was a kettle available but coffee wasn’t provided, just tea. Sometimes it is better to have even a paid option, than not to have it at all.

Comfortable room with sofa and a table is big enough, breakfast was fine and we were able to park our car in the garage to protect it from snow. The location is very good with close access everywhere by foot, when walking isn’t a problem for guests.
