Breakfast was a bit underwhelming and not everything was fresh (for example the marinated artichokes).

Family friendly hotel, great staff, plenty of space in the rooms and great location. A great supermarket is just next door and so it's the City Centre.

We arrived at 1:30 pm in a hurry because had a walking tour at 2:00 pm, check in time. Even though the room was available, we ( and 2-3 other couples) had to wait until 1:55 pm to get our room keys and, of course, arrived late at the meeting point.

Nothing to dislike, was very happy with the hotel and the staff.

Location for the Christmas markets was excellent though it was a taxi ride from the railway station. . Plenty of dining options close to the hotel but bookings were essential as the Bavarian restaurant we would have liked to eat at was booked out for the 5 days that we were in Augsburg. There was no fridge in the room but the manager very kindly brought one up for us. We had booked a suite at the hotel only to find that was on the 6th floor and the lift only went to the 5th floor then there was a long sweeping staircase to climb to reach the room. The climb with suitcases was not possible for us so an alternative room was offered. The alternative room was spacious and had a very good seating area. As a bonus when we messaged booking.com with the lower tariff we were delighted with the saving and more than happy with the size of the room.

The one big negative is that there are no English speaking channels or news Channels like the BBC World service, SKY News, GB News, CNN, Fox News, ABC etc. This is unusual and quite ridiculous.

We didn't eat at the hotel because there were so many options outside and good prices. The location is 100% and brilliant for everything. The internet is good and fast.

The towels were prepared only for 1 person even we booked for 2 people and the cleaning person came in before checking out while we were still in the room in the morning.

The room was clean and I loved the coffee and tea they provided in our room. The location was right next to the old town and approximately 15 mins walk from the central station. There was a supermarket in the next building and a lot of cafes and bakeries nearby.

To be honest, everything was fine and I can't complain about much. However, I would say that calling the room before checkout time the next day was a bit annoying. I think I was running a couple of minutes late and I got the feeling that they were chasing us out the door.

We checked in without any problems and the staff member on-duty was very attentive and friendly. We asked about how to get into the city centre and she gave us good advice on using the public transportation, or how to get there on foot. The room was a good size, clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. The air-conditioner could have been a bit stronger, but it was OK. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choice, as well as some very good coffee. Very enjoyable.
