The water leaked a little from the shower, so the bath was always very wet.

I like the location, it is located in a very lively and nice neighbourhood, it is easy to reach the city centre from here. There are very cool cafés around the place. We had a room for two with our own bathroom. It was very comfortable, bed was super comfy.

We visited in winter and unfortunately couldn't regulate the temperature of the room (due to floor heating). It got a bit too hot during the night which impacted our comfort.

The location was great, with nice places to eat close by and it was very easy to get to all the main attractions of the city. Pretty good value for money if you compare it to other places! Well-equipped & clean common kitchen and area to eat if you choose to eat in.

Walls are a bit thin but nothing that couldn't easily be fixed by some earplugs so it really isn't meant to be a complaint, just info for others to bring earplugs if they are very sensitive to noise. :)

I was informed I would have access to the kitchen while the reception was closed with a passcode, but there was a door to the reception/kitchen that seemed to be locked after reception hours - best to ask about it when you arrive.

Single room was great in size and cleanliness with a nice view to the street. There were enough bathrooms on the floor for the amount of rooms. Staff were lovely upon check in. Location was great, easy to get everywhere by public transport.

The beds were super soft and a bit narrow. My back hurt by the end of our stay. Replace the beds and this place would be fabulous. Some might mind walking up to the fourth floor but we didn't. The floors are noisy in the hostel but the studio is located in a separate stairwell so you don't hear them at all within.

We were upgraded on check-in from a twin room with shared bath to the studio apartment which was great. The desk guy let us store our bags when we arrived early and sent a whatsapp when the room was ready. Beds are rather too soft and narrow but otherwise very little to complain about. Good space, we appreciated the laundry and kitchen facilities (didn't cook). Terrific location in an atmospheric and pleasant neighborhood. An easy walk to great food and transport to the rest of Berlin. Would happily stay again.

The walls are thin so you can hear conversations and other things that happen in the rooms next to and above you. There was construction happening in the hallway besides mine. It would have been helpful to let us know beforehand.

The staff were VERY helpful and kind. A man helped me carry my luggage up the stairs. It would have been terrible to do on my own. The room was cozy and it was nice to have shelf and drawer space. The bathrooms are plentiful so you never have to wait to do your business or wash up.

It seemed quite expensive for a hostel. The beds were slightly uncomfortable. The walk up the stairs and to the showers/toilets can be a bit depending which room you get.

The size of the room was quite good. The shared kitchen had all you need to make a meal. The check-in and out was a very simple task. The location of the hostel is quite good for restaurants and access to trams to head to the main areas.

the floors in the whole building are VERY creaky. you will hear ppl walking in the halls/rooms next to you. If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are a must (I think you can get some rom the reception).

Street noise in the evening.

The room was small but adequate, all I needed was a shower and a clean bed for a good price and that was met. 5 minutes from the subway station and 6 minutes by subway to Alexanderplatz. Close to lots of restaurants and shops.

The only downside is the walls seem to be thin and the noise coming from the street can be heard from the rooms. The floors also creak a lot and it bothers people especially light sleepers at night.

I like how overall the rooms are well maintained and clean all throughout. I was glad I booked a single room so I had some privacy, unlike other hostels.

The room had only one electricity socket, which was really clumsy when you have two mobile phones to charge. There were also no separate bedside lights for the beds which meant that either you had all the lights on or no lights at all - clumsy if other one wants to sleep and other person read. Sound isolation is very poor, literally non-existent, but fortunately it was rather quiet in the hostel during our stay.

The hostel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were nicely decorated, there was plenty of bathrooms/toilets and the communal kitchen was comfortable. All staff members were super friendly and helpful. Good location with an easy access to several forms of public transport.

Sound-proofing was really bad, could always hear the people beside us when they came in late at night or woke up in the morning.

Loved the neighbourhood, lots of bars and restaurants. Room was a good size for two people with enough storage space, and bathrooms were always clean.

The rooms are very functional. My solo room reminded me of university dorm room. Which, while fine, could have a few added additions like a smaller lamp, a carpet beside the bed… the curtains should also be wider as it is easy to see into the rooms from the street (hopefully this was just my room!). While it has the title of a hostel, it is more of a between a hostel and a hotel. The staff, while kind, is there for very limited hours a day, and there are not many offerings listed for activities.

I loved the location! You’re in the heard of an excellent foodie neighbourhood, close to public transportation. Good kitchen space and felt very secure! Would recommend if you’re going in a group or if you’re solo and know to make other plans for meeting people!
