Laundry facilities are expensive (€9 for a wash and dry). You need to install an app to use the machines which is more hassle than a coin operated laundry. The kitchen could have been slightly better stocked. A couple of filter papers for the coffee maker and larger sized glasses would not have gone amiss. A few of the utensils and pieces of crockery were beginning to show their age but still functional.

Very walkable location close to a selection of bars and restaurants. Comfortable bed, possibly better than our mattress at home. Generally clean and comfortable. Very quiet in the building. Some may find the traffic noise at the front a bit too loud at busy times, however we found the glazing was excellent and on the 5th floor was enough to cut the sound down to levels where you could sleep through rush hour. I'd take the option of an upper floor if offered. We were barely aware of other guests around us on our floor. Soundproofing seems to be much better than the average in the building. Nice that you can use the coffee machine and water filter in the breakfast area at all times for free.

Our first room (the Deluxe) did not live up to our expectations. It was larger and lived up to the text description, but was nothing like the pictures. Big, but very empty and without much furniture.

The hotel seems perfect for families and people travelling with dogs. The breakfast was good, and the city centre was within walking distance.

Considering the price of the room, it did not make sense to me that therer wasn't a daily cleaning of the room.

- Not a big negative as it’s a great environmental initiative, but just a note for others: rooms are only cleaned once a week. You can pay an additional fee to get it cleaned more frequently.

- Great location: close to the city centre, close to the port, metro stations nearby. - Not relevant to everyone but loved having a gym on site. - Good continental breakfast. - Hot drinks available in the reception/breakfast area 24/7.

The breakfast was a bit basic for the extra charge of €14. You can get much better & fresher options in several locations nearby the hotel.

Nice & helpful staff, clean & good sized rooms. Nice interior!

Laundry machine is for 4 kg, I think - not that big. Found 24/7 free coffee machine 1-2 days later, it wasn't explained on check-in. When kids are occupying double-bed, it's hard to lye on the side of it (mattress-specific). Using a card before choosing a floor in elevator is more secure, but very unpractical with 2-3 cups of "coffee".

Everything was good or very good, so only describe below what wasn't! Landry/tumble drying with an app, which sends push-messages on finish is a new good experience for me.

When we arrived they missed our message for a preferred studio at the quiet side. There was no parking space, was also not possible to reserve for the coming days and the given info about parking in the street was wrong and inaccurate. There is also no cleaning if you stay four nites, unless you pay extra. It was annoying that the reception didnt seem to care. We also had the pleasure of a false fire alarm at 2.00 am where everyone had to leave their rooms. No excuse or explanation was given. On the day before leaving I asked for a later checkout for 1 hour, which was arranged and very nice. On the day itself I was called and asked to leave the room because they forgot the late check-out. All in all they definitely need to work on better service!

A modern, spacious apartment with everything you need. The lounge is nice and location perfect in-between highlights.

There is no parking (you can reserve it, but it wasn't available for us, so they do not have enough of parking slots). So be ready to spent quite some time to find a parking in the area and pay a very high price. It's very noisy in the room, because the building is located on the big street with 24 hours traffic. So you can't open a window for a night because of the noise. And if you do not open, then it's too stuffy, the ventilation in the room is too bad. Looks like nobody ever cleaned the bedsides tables, just covered in dust (the room and bathroom are very clean though).

The deluxe ensuite was very small and not like the photos. However we got upgraded to the 1 bed apartment which was amazing and one of the rooms I've stayed in.

We got upgraded which really made the trip so much better. It's a great location, great local bars and restaurants and if you have watched the show travel man in hamburg, the hotel is right next to the old lady golden finger statue.

The superior study was meant to have a sitting area - there was just one more or less comfortable chair and a footstool, I would have expected at least 2 comfortable chairs for a room with 2 beds. You can hear the S-Bahn pass under the building - even if you stay on the 2nd floor. There is a bikelane crossing when you step out of the hotel - look out for fast bikers who do not brake!

The location of the hotel is really exceptional - Landungsbrücken, city center, Schanzenviertel and St Pauli, all can be reached by walking. I liked the free coffee policy. Good sound isolation of the windows - nearly no traffic noise from the cars. public transport is very close by.

Washing machines are available for guests but one needs to down load a useless app known as WeWash which did not function, meaning that we had to visit a laundromat notwithstanding the availability of washing machines in the hotel. There is nothing wrong with good old fashioned tokens.

Excellent location and nice rooms with well equipped kitchenette which makes this hotel suitable for a longer stay. Its an easy 10 minute walk to Landungsbrücken, to the Innenalster, Rathausplatz and many other central areas so the location of the hotel is really good.
