The hotel is well located in the centre of Cologne, with numerous restaurants and bars in the surrounding streets. The staff were pleasant and helpful and there was a good range of food at breakfast, all of which was tasty.

Harder pillows would be great - and two of them.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We forgot power adapters and they had spares in a box to give us. This is just a really nice touch and made a big difference to our impression of the hotel. The rooms and facilities were all great.

Our primary concern during our stay was the inadequate heating in the room. Despite setting the heater to a maximum of 24°C, the system would automatically revert to 20°C, leading to uncomfortably cold conditions. After a particularly chilly first night, we requested at the reception that the temperature not be automatically lowered, a request that was assured to be honored but, in reality, was not. This persistent issue resulted in us falling ill after two days, adversely affecting the remainder of our five-day vacation. Additionally, the shower cabin was disappointingly small, and the water pressure was mediocre at best.

On a positive note, the breakfast was a highlight of our stay, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were exceptionally pleasant, leaving a lasting positive impression on us. We were also very appreciative of the late check-out provided to us free of charge, which was a thoughtful gesture. The hotel is situated in a tranquil and lovely area, with the convenience of a metro station being extremely close by. The room and the hotel's common areas were maintained in a pristine condition throughout our stay. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with two large bottles of water as a complimentary gesture, and the room included a mini-fridge, adding to our comfort.

I’m not sure there was anything I didn’t like about this hotel, it was perfect for our few days in Cologne.

This hotel was perfect for us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and my room was fine although I’m not sure I would’ve been able to share it with anyone as it was rather small! We were perfectly situated on the Market Square, with excellent access to the cathedral, the railway station and the river. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pillows were a nightmare, and it would be good to have tea/coffee making faciilties in the room.

Having read the other reviews it seems other rooms had a fridge and better coffee making facilities. Considering we were told by staff we had the best room in the hotel, you would think there would be milk included with our coffees! There is also only hand soap and no other toiletries provided, just little touches that would make the room better.

My partner and I stayed in the junior suite and I would definitely recommend for the view of the cathedral. The bed was very comfortable but let down by thin pillows and the room was clean. The hotel is in a great location for food and drinks throughout the day as well as the main attractions and staff were friendly and helpful.

Pillow was a bit flat but otherwise the bed was comfrotable. It was not easy to change AC settings so I ended up opening the window which let in a bit of street noise.

Location was excellent. Convenient to train station and major attractions. The facility was clean.

Our first room was situated above a bar, so sleep first night was tough. We called reception and they changed our room straight away!

This is a great place to stay; walking distance to the station, cathedral and places to eat. The hotel was clean and well equipped. The crowning glory of the hotel are the staff; super attentive. We were received by Daniel and together with his colleagues really made our stay comfortable.

Staff was exceptionally kind and the room was so fantastic. I made check out at 11 am, but I leaved my bags until the time for my train. So I earned more time to enjoy the city.

Even though the square was quite at night, right under the hotel there is a an irish pub and a group of youngsters were hanging out in the midnight talking very loud, signing, living life basically. I had to open the room and remind them that there is a hotel room right above them (which they were not really aware)

great location, breakfast was wonderful, room was very clean but honestly a bit too small. I had to pay attention how i move around in order to not stumble upon things.
