The bathroom should have a place to store toilet bags. And the shower be great if it had a place to put the shower handle so you do not need to hold it. The pillow was a bit low and maybe two each would be great.

No tea towels for drying dishes. One window blind was broken so couldn't shut out day light for sleeping in. Not very clean. Only thing that was clean was the floor and the mirror. Thankfully there were cleaning utensils in kitchen so we could clean bathroom and kitchen area ourselves. Towels and bed lining didn't seem fresh. Thankfully we had our own towel and could wash bed lining in sink. If we would have known would have been easier to bring our own bedding.

Great location! Quiet area, very central and close to night life areas of Berlin. Very spacious room with private bathroom, fridge, coffee maker, sink and dishes. Possibility to cook in shared kitchen. Few basic things like coffee filters, kitchen paper, dishcloth need to be bought.

The bed broke on the last night, obviously not for the first time since there was tape on the corner where it broke. Other than that no issues.

Location was great for my needs (clubbing). Also lots of great food places in very near the place.

Superb location, great spot for a few nights stay with no frills and on a budget. You are within walking distance of most of the main nightclubs. Would happily recommend and return again.

The room could be a bit cleaner, and the kitchen was VERY dirty. All the utensils, bowls cups etc. were very dirty (most of them caked in dirt) and there wasn't really anything to clean them with. The kettle also leaked. We also had to call the host before we arrived to get the lockbox code, which meant we had international phone fees. One of the chairs was also a bit broken.

It was in a really nice location and very close to nice breakfast spots/cafes and supermarkets. Also super close to the underground so very convenient to get places. A good sized room, good bed and bathroom had a table and two chairs and a nice tv. The host was also very helpful

we found a mildly pot of coffee that they didn’t noticed / cleaned . so I guess it had been there for quite a while . ( they came and gave us a clean one when we let them know ) shower had no cold water , it was really too hot to enjoy it . bathroom is a bit old and some stuffs could be better cleaned / refreshed .

The lighting in the room wasn’t great which affected the atmosphere/vibe. I’d like more lamps/1 strong lamp, as we went in winter so it felt a bit dark/dingy. But if you’re on a budget for the location, I’d stay again.

The location was excellent, the shower was fantastic- strong & hot, it was handy to have a kitchen/kettle. The heating was great/fast. Room was a good size with sofa etc. Communication with the host was easy & fast, to get into the room & also when we needed wifi password.

The beds slatted frame always jumped out when laying down or when getting up. It made that with a loud bang which is not fun in the middle of the night. I don’t know how many times I had to put the boards back into the frame. The reason was that the fabric connecting the boards was ripped at several places.

You are paying for the location rather than the room, which is quite basic, but if you spend most of the time out then there is no issue.

The location is great, very near to shops, bars & transport. The room has all the necessities & we found the bed comfy.

The only negative aspect of the room was the lighting. Two of the five ceiling lights did not work so the room was very dim during the night. But if those 2 lights were fixed, it would have been perfect.

I do not know if other people were staying in adjacent rooms, but it was nice and quiet in our room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I used a few utensils and cups from the kitchen, which was super convenient. I watched a movie on the TV, which was easy to use.

The place was dirty. the kitchen wasn’t clean, the fridge was really dirty with brown marks everywhere. the room was full of dirt and thin spiders, plus we were invaded by ants at night. lots of spider’s webs in the bathroom on the walls. and it smelled like smoke or burnt in the corridor.

The location was really great, near the transport station, the East Side Gallery and the mall.

Apartment reeked of cold cigarette smoke. Dirty bloody and slimey paper towel on the floor and other dirt. Linings old and worn out. Apartment is actually only a studio. No communication after complaint about refund.

The treatment we received from the tenant was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. He didn't extend any sort of message to us to check if everything was ok; eventually we realized that several things in the apartment were wrong, such as the hot pan, lack of cutlery and toilet paper, the apartment overall was dirty, we texted him several times and called him as well and he wouldn't answer, even though he saw our texts an hour later. We needed to text him at the next morning to make sure he was going to take care of all of the issues in the apartment, eventually he did yet not fully. It is specified that there is a working kitchen and that is simply a lie, overall it felt like a scam for tourists and the the behavior, or lack there of, that we received in exchange was completely uncalled for. Definitely not worth it to stay there and to pay money to someone who sells lies.

It's not a nice place; it has no charm at all. It was barely clean with a stench of cigarette. The bed cracked with the slightest movement and it was too noisy outside. It was impossible to rest. I guess if your are partying you wouldn't mind (having that the location has a lot of night life and clubs), but if you are in another mood or traveling with family it's not worth the price.

It is close to the metro and the city center.
