Poor light in the bathroom.

Really lovely hotel, tram stop right outside & S bahn 5 mins away. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room was spotless & free WiFi was excellent. Free bottle of water each day.Breakfast catered for Everyone. Definitely recommend this hotel & would stay there again.

Unfortunately the bed was very low and too soft for me. I would assume for older people or with problems it might could be tricky to get out of bed.. Unfortunately also I didn't check and there was no fridge in the room ( but OK I think I had economy so just to be aware of it). Also something that confused me that the entrance had only stairs to get to the lobby? It should be improved as for people with heavy luggage or with low mobility etc.. Not handy for a hotel.. Also just to be aware the shortest way from u/sbahn station is trough some red light district so I recommend to walk down the "Zeil" and than turn right.. Much more better atmosphere for me. My room had old windows so it might be noisy with the traffic etc - I didn't mind but just for sensitive people.

I liked the design and atmosphere of the rooms. And all seems very clean and taken care of, Wi-Fi and welcome water all good. Also the environment concept. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. When taken the friendlier street, close to supermarket open till 23 pm and shopping street etc..

Firstly the friendly Jim at the reception. I came way earlier than check in time but Jim ensured that I had a smooth check in. He spoke English and always answered all my questions very efficiently. Thank you Jim!!! The Location was super excellent for me, everything was in walking distance, the tram is right outside the hotel and the metro is in walking distance. For the price point I have no complaints at all.

The access to the hall and reception is only with staircase. It was a bit troublesome with kinderwagen and heavy luggage. Elevator is available only from this intermediate floor where reception to the rooms. We stayed in a room that had to go down a couple of stairs from up floor. So accessibility when with a baby is a bit troublesome.

Very well located, clean rooms. Bathroom was renovated and very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good.

We stayed at the double room with a friend, and we were surprised that the shower did not have a curtain or a door. That was funny and a bit inconvenient.

Most of the staff won't speak proper English which is a NO go in a international hotel. The room is super small and in the pictures give and impression of being bigger (despite the sqm are shown in the details). Lack of details, there's no coffe macchine or jar to boil water an make a tea, zero. Is an empty room. The breakfast has the bare minimum, cheese some eggs and bread.

The location is the thing which stands the most cause you have everything almost walking distance. Staff are very nice and welcoming

Some of our towels were frayed. The walls are very think and we could hear the next door neighbors. There was liquid soap at sink and shower but no other bath or cosmetic products, such as hand lotion, shower cap, q-tips, etc. It did not seem that the shampoo was also a conditioner. We were there in December and it was cold but we found the room, even at the lowest temperature setting to be too warm. Apparently, in Germany, they have settings below and above which one may not go on the thermostat. Our room faced the street with public transportation and we were trying to avoid the noise from that if we opened the window. The last thing is that we were surprised to find that the bathroom had no door between it and the bedroom. While the toilet was separate, in a small close sized room with a door, the sink and shower area were wide open. There should be at least a curtain that could be pulled for some privacy and to accommodate those who get up earlier than the other room guests and who wish to be as minimally intrusive on their traveling companion as possible.

Most if the staff was very friendly and helpful. We weren’t sure about the location when we arrived but it was fine. Seemed to be quite safe and easily accessible to public transportation. Also an easy 10 minute walk to the Christmas markets.

The breakfast offered a limited variety, but the quality exceeded expectations. The flavors were rich and satisfying, compensating for the lack of extensive options. The room was comfortable, especially the bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The view from the room was enjoyable, providing a pleasant atmosphere. However, a notable downside was the bathroom lacking a door, compromising privacy and convenience. This aspect was a significant drawback for an otherwise positive stay.

No aircon which made the room very hot even tho u could open window then very noisy. Could hear other people in room next door. I found it a bit noisy for my liking.
