How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff who did check in for me at my arrival time, he is not professional, because he did not provide me with the general information that I needed for checking in, and he did not even bother him self to smile!!?? So I had to ask him about the time for breakfast and check out and parking..etc!!

Nothing to say, perfect place, huge rooms, very nice staff and excellent breakfast with a lot of choice. The metro is very close to reach out the city center within 15 minutes.

Not drastic but the air conditioning wasn’t the most powerful but to be honest I think I’ve yet to find a hotel where the air conditioning is good. Like most German bars there was no cider which for me personally was annoying but not for others I’m sure.

The glass bathroom door was a little bit of a challenge even though I was staying with a family member
The location is superb, really close to metro and S-bahn, where you can easily get to the old city center or Ost & Hauptbahnhof with approximately 20 min ride. The neighborhood that the hotel is located is a quiet area with office buildings of big companies. The staff is great and breakfast buffet offers variety of options.

Room - weird sound coming from bathroom; water leaving the sink slowly, even smaller things were stuck there... breakfast - was quite good, but not excellent; some more variations might serve me better.

The sink and faucet, while nice looking are not the best combo. The faucet is too fiddley, while the sink is shaped like a wok. So, if you happen to turn on the waterflow to high, you will get yourself (and the bathroom) covered in water. Although I am a level 3, and got the discount on the room, I didn't get a free breakfast, which costs almost 20€ a day. Also, it's not the hotel's fault, but next to it is a big construction site at the moment, and you can forget about sleeping past 8 AM if you have a window open, because the construction site becomes very noisy after that time. Again, this is just currently, and not the hotel's fault.
The hotel has all the necessary amenities in the room, and more. For example you don't just get an electric kettle, but also a pod espresso machine, with both instant and pod coffees, teas, milk and sugar/sweetener being replenished daily, with a bottle of sparkling water, all free of charge. And if you run out of any of those, you can just get more from the housekeeping staff, if you happen to see them around while they are working. The bathroom is really nice, with a great shower and a heating lamp overhead, that you can activate on a timer. Beds are very comfortable, and the TV is really big, with great picture quality. Across the hotel is a big parking lot, and the hotel has it's own too. It is very close to the last U5 line metro station, just about 300 meters away, so you can easily go around Munich and back, if you want.

My bedroom wasn’t what I was used to from the hotel. The way my bed was made wasn’t as I remember from last time. The sheet was permanently moving. It didn’t seem to fit correctly. The lid of the bin in the bathroom wasn’t clean.

Terrible pillows
Perfect position close to U5 metro, 20 minutes from Odeonplatz. Public park in front of the Hotel, 1,5€ per 24h (you just need to exit the park before the 24h and immediately go in for the next 24h)
