Excellent location lots of personal touches to make you feel most welcome including personal napkins and lovely authentic crockery representing the region and old fashioned hospitality. Lacking in so many modern hotels .

Quick walk from the station and thus close to the cathedral, the star of Cologne of course. Reception staff were outstanding and met every request cheerfully and professionally. Breakfast was also outstanding: huge selection including a range of fresh fruit. I was delighted to eat Cape gooseberries ( physalis)which I haven't had for about 50 years!

The hotel is very well kept but it should have been updated many years ago - it doesn't have air con or a fan in the bathroom.

A family friendly, family run hotel in a very central location. Well priced, with an excellent breakfast and efficient staff.

The beds are a little harder than we had hoped but not a big issue. The rooms got a bit too warm (quite fast) so it's great that you can control the airconditioning to help cool down. I would have appreciated more warm vegetarian options (for ex., vegetarian sausages) for breakfast but there are also cheeses etc. to choose from at the buffet.

A cute hotel with an amazing location (just a two minute walk from the station!) The staff was friendly and always available at the front desk. And even though the breakfast wasn't very extravagant, the food was fresh and tasty and a good way to start the morning. With the airconditioning on the rooms are quite pleasant and a good place to wind down.

No electronic kettle in the room. I asked for one from the staff but that one may be in storage for a long time.

There was hair on blanket and pillow cover. Pillow was too soft and very thin. Handwash bottle was a refill bottle for an automatic dispenser but the dispenser was not there. Electric kettle, drinking glasses/ cups should have been provided.

3 mins walk to Central Station. Quiet and safe neighbourhood with a visible police presence in the area. Hotel has an old-world charm;quaint. Staff was pleasant and helpful and they have an excellent breakfast spread.

Just a personal preference, we like tea/coffee making facilities in the room, it didn't have any.

Location was easy to find, just around corner from the main railway station. Staff were very good, welcoming. Rooms were excellent, good size, clean. Great shower and plenty of towels. Breakfast was very good, excellent choices and all fresh. Great value for money. Would definitely be my hotel of choice for Cologne and will recommend to anyone travelling there.

Great location - 5 mins walk from the railway station and 10 mins from the city centre. The staff is very friendly! The room was clean. Breakfast was great, with sparkling wine on Sunday. The hotel also had a small Christmas market on the weekend for guests with mulled wine which was very nice.

The only thing that I had to get used to was the big room key chains, which are quite heavy. But that really is only a tiny thing :)

The rooms are simple but nice. And the staff is exceptional. They made me feel sooooo welcome and it felt like they really care about making my stay enjoyable. If you look for a cozy place to feel comfy in, this is the place to go!

The WiFi was a bit spotty - I was at the end of the corridor.

The location is great: a couple of hundred meters from the main train station. My single room was small, and fairly basic, but the bedding was comfortable, and there was a great shower and a small balcony with a bit of a view. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. 24x7 reception.
