The only reason i didn’t give this Hotel a 10/10 is because the walls and doors are very thin. You can hear full conversations through the walls and when someone is in the hallways.

Location was great, Ubahn 2 min walk away. Great view onto the city. Really comfortable beds and amazing pillows.

This probably applies to me only, but when I'm on holiday I would love to be able to choose whether I'd rather wake up late. That's just not possible at Motel One because the cleaning service starts relatively early so I could hear the vacuums going when I would have preferred to sleep. If there was such thing as a "quiet floor for night owls" this would be the perfect hotel. Again, it's an easy fix: I just need to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier.

It's not my first time at Motel One, so I knew what to expect: great rooms, very well decorated although not too big, super comfortable beds, nice bathrooms (with excellent organic body products). The location is fantastic. The subway stop is right by the hotel exit and the center is at walking distance. Wi-fi is goop enough and the staff is super helpful. The hotel breakfast is fantastic. Also, having a garage available if you go there by car is great.

The property adjacent to the hotel had lights on all night in the staircase and the curtains in my room’s window ware not light proof enough. You need thicker curtains. Breakfast on Sunday and a holiday got extremely busy (difficult to find a table, difficult to pass in the crowded passages).

I am a fan of the motel one chain and I tried some of their other hotels in Munich.This one has an absolutely superb location!! Right in the old town of Munich, but not at any major street. The rooms in the inner courtyard are silent and the breakfast is quite good, even if it can get very busy. The hotel is very clean. Overall good value for money! I would book it again

No kettle in room or for hire. No nets for privicy. Curtains when open for natural light means no privacy if room faces inwards. NO safety cable on windows. A child if left alone could open window and risk falling out. Would fail health and safety in UK. Rooms therfore not suitable children

The hotel is getting renovated, so there was only one elevator working. One had to wait, but above of that everything was ver good.

It is very close to the center. Within some minutes by feet one reaches the marienplatz. It is as well very close to the trainstation. Has several shops or restaurants close. The room is really cozy! They got the best out of it.

In a city with a reputation for being eye-wateringly costly, there is no need to sacrifice style and quality if you want an affordable hotel in Munich. Boutique on a budget is how I would describe Motel One - with reasonably good variety for breakfast(with additional cost), strong wifi, a lounge for a great night cap. All the rooms have a contemporary decor with their signature turquoise calming hues. Rooms are cozy but designed to make the most of the space and focus on the essentials. The crews here are all warm and friendly. Location: Its only a short stroll to great stores, superb choices of restaurants and cafes + spanky cool clubs. The price is great value for an otherwise overpriced city. There are no complimentary water bottles in the room, nor there are any Drink Vending Machines. Expect to pay quite a bit for mineral water from their lounge. Best pick up some before your stay if you are water guzzler like me. I go through 3 large bottles a day! Parking: unfortunately their inhouse garage is closed till 20.05.22 due to some hotel renovation works. We had to park at one of garages nearby, as suggested by the hotel. At CONTIPARK Tiefgarage Stachus, it was a whopping 36Euro, for less than 24 hours duration. If you are out till wee hours bar hopping, do not count on sleeping in late, due to renovation works, you will not be able to. Anyway in a bustling city of Munich, why would you want to sleep in and waste a sunny gorgeous day anyway😁

The beds were just a bit too soft and the heat has been turned on maximum before my arrival, so that I had to air out the room before it was even comfortable to sleep. Given that I‘d arrived shortly before midnight and had an early mornin meeting - some valuable sleeping time was lost.

It is centrally located and the city center is accessible on foot within just a few minutes. It is also very close to the train station, which is perfect.
