We booked for four and arrived four. There were only three beds ready. We found the pillow and blanket for the fourth one but no pillow cover and no towels. Unfortunately, we arrived after the reception closed so we were not able to get them before next morning. Everything else was very much OK. We did not mind the stairs but we could not have the window opened - it led to a relatively busy street. But the location close to the center made up more then well for it.

Location - close to everything we were interested in seeing. Lots of cozy breakfast bistros and cafes near. Quite comfortable beds. Large bathroom, airy room.

the weird thing was the electric kettle as a room equipment - with no cups or glasses accompanying - and I have no idea what I could do with boiling water, without cup I wasn't even able to make own tea or coffee...

Very nice small hotel near Savignyplatz. What makes it a superb location? The surroundings - a lot restaurants, cafes and other places for eating and enjoying yourself in neighbourhood :) also the old buildings of Charlottenburg district add its charm, and the hotel is very close to the big city's life in Ku'damm and Zoologische Garten Quartier. The room was clean, very spacious and tall with really comfortable mattresses.

Location is great! Close (5 minutes walk) to Savignyplatz and 20 minutes walk to the Zoo Station. The room isn't very big, but it has everything you need and it's clean! I would get back there again.

Great location with very good accessibility by S-Bahn. The room was functionally furnished and shone with cleanliness. I slept there like a baby. I appreciate the clear instructions regarding accommodation that were given to me in the very next bar when I arrived at the accommodation after closing the reception.

The room could have a little better lighting.

The room was pleasantly large and spacious. The bed is comfortable. The location is great, various metro stops and food places were close by. It was also not far to a large grocery store.

A little noisy as the floor boards are creaky so I could hear each time the residents above me walked across their room but I am a light sleeper it may not wake others.

The staff were welcoming and helpful particularly Johanna. My room was very big with a high ceiling and a nice private en suite and TV the bed was very comfortable. This hotel is very close to buses and the S bahn train station so it made getting around Berlin very easy. I love the huge( but very heavy) front door and the grand looking stair case Breakfast was varied fresh and plentiful

The bathroom was not part of the room but opened from the hallway. The bathroom is private though but still a separate room. The WIFI did not really work in my room.

It was all right and the staff was very kind. The room was fairly bare, but there was a nice balcony to the room.

Advertised WiFi, but there was no WiFi in my room. Because this is a pension, the reception desk has limited hours and there was no obvious or clear way to get a solution. While the morning reception person was very accommodating to move me to another room ( and even acknowledged that my room experienced WiFi reception problems!) I had spent a miserable night trying to deal with an urgent medical concern for a loved one at home without the promised WiFi.

The rooms don’t look as shown in the photos. Cleaning is definitely not their best feature - there was a lot of dust under the high bed. The pillows were made of stinging feathers. The “bed” for the third person was very small and uncomfortable - much like an armchair. The persons from the reception were rude and impolite. They don’t have an elevator and nobody offered to help us with the luggage. The floor is very noisy at every step you make.

Very small bed for two people. Not very clean. The persons from the reception were not very nice, quite rude I would say. They don’t have an elevator and the room was at the second floor - we had a lot of heavy luggage and nobody even offered to help us on the stairs. The floor sounds awful at every step - very noisy. I felt that the room was hunted - there were black curtains and 3 black paintings in the room with ghosts on it.

Very unpleasant experience as we opened the room door the bed was messy and toilet was not cleaned. Obviously the room was left uncleaned from the last guest. The staff could manage this easily by switching us to another room. What really went wrong was the staff tried to clean the room right in front of us while we had to wait for it. He claimed this is best he could do and tried to persuade us to believe this is not a big deal while this is totally unacceptable. We waited more than 30 mins for this cleaning nonsense and it took him that long to realise he had to ring his manager and offer us a different room. Next day when we checked out none of the hotel staff apologised or even mentioned about this, as it never happened. For 140 Euro per night hotel this is ridiculous. Still paid the amount but this review stays.
