The WIFI did not work during our stay. Impossible to get internet connection.

Comfortable, very spacious room. The room and the bathroom were very clean. 5 free drinks in the minibar. Excellent breakfast.

No reception!! No phone in the room to communicate Nobody answer if call them from external telephone Aircondition heating not working properly They clean the room only one time in 5 days At the end we be informed that the room cleaning was only on request !!! Nobody for check out Nobody to call a taxi !!!

The breakfast price is way too high for an average breakfast. In most hotels you get a much broader offer of food for half the price.

Very clean. The beds were EXCELLENT! Not the soft, next-day-back-ache types, but nice and hard. Great place to stay with a dog who likes long walks.

I enter my room, and it was already occupied by someone else. The next morning another stranger entered my room with a key to my room. The staff was totally with the reservations, which were not even in a digital system, but paper based. Till 13:00 there is no one at the reception who could handle this issues. Parking is listed as a facility available without extra fee, but we were charged.

Connecting to the wifi is not intuitive, there were also no instructions for wifi access provided when I checked it. I was so tired and busy during this trip, I didn't ask and just used data from my phone instead. It could be nice to include these instructions at check in.

Great value and a comfortable stay! The location is away from the city in a quiet, riverside area - it's just next to the boat ferry for quick access to Dusseldorf. Room was spacious and comfortable, also really appreciated the complimentary drinks waiting in the refrigerator. Buffet style breakfast with a beautiful attrium view of surrounding nature. I'll surely stay here again when visiting Dusseldorf.

It is very remote, has no facilities and staff are unhelpful. My flight was cancelled so I looked for a good value airport hotel. Until I could fly out the next morning. This came up as an option in budget, booking.com stated it was 5km from the airport. It is, as the crow flies but apparently there was a ferry across the river which has now closed. This would have been the direct reroute but now you have to take the 20km route instead. There are no bus or rail links, it’s in the middle of nowhere and cost €50 in a taxi. I arrived about 10:15pm to find they had no restaurant and the bar had shut. I was allowed a beer from the minibar for free. Next morning I came to reception to see if they could organise a taxi, but reception was closed (at 8am!). Über wouldn’t come out and I had no taxi number. Another very panicked Asian lady begged me to get her to the airport as she spoke no German and very little English. I found one busy member of staff in the breakfast room who gave me a taxi number. The taxi took 30 mins to arrive from town and cost me another €50. I hope my Mongolian friend made her flight. In summary, I would not recommend this hotel if you need a hassle free airport stay.

The bedroom was clean and modern. It was a snowy Jan night and the heating system was blowing out cold air but I switched it off turned on the portable electric heater and doubled up the duvet. It was fine.

Staff and manager do an outstanding job to make your stay an unforgettable experience. All is clean and hygenic. Cleanest hotel I have seen for years. To bad that there are people who do not appreciate the effort the staff and manager are doing while multitasking numerous jobs and working many hours a day. After having a conversation with the manager I was ashamed to learn that the number of uncivilized and disrespectful guests is growing each day. Stop harassing and bullying staff! They are all people and should be treated with respect. Be patience, understanding and ask questions before you make assumptions and start talking down to them. Make their jobs a pleasant one each day and your stay an unforgettable experience. It starts with you.

Exceptionally unprofessionally managed: - upon arrival, despite booking without breakfast and additionally explicitly declining breakfast, it was silently added to the bill and only corrected upon complaint - minibar is advertised as free, but there's no fridge. Receptionist helped by offering free drinks from the bar - 300 EUR per night for a single room in the attic without any cooling. This is ridiculous even for the very expensive exhibition area of Düsseldorf. Even more so under such chaotic and unprofessional management - despite non-disturb sign, housekeeping bashed in without knocking TWICE - dirty hallways

Receptionist was friendly and helpful, did everything he could in his limited power. The location is remote but beautiful and worth the distance to reach it.

Despite phoning in advance to check that all rooms had air conditioning, we found out that on arrival no air conditioning in the hotel was working and hadn’t for some time - not good in 30 degrees temperature!

This property has high potential but is nowhere near to realising it. location next to the river is good albeit 30 minutes from Düsseldorf.

Unfortunately, the receptionist's behavior is very rude and bad..I accidentally opened the emergency door, and his reaction was impolite. I do not know the German language, and there was no red color or even a universally recognized warning sign..I do not know how such a man can be employed in a place that receives Guests like this..

I was not made aware before travelling that neither the bar or restaurant would be open. No live TV in the room & also had issues with the WI-FI. Having to order in a take away in not acceptable at the price being charged.
