Could be cosier with nicer furnishings but that put up the price of the room. So I does what it needs to

It’s a great location, a basic room which does small it needed to. It was very quiet and I enjoyed having a drink in the bar and heading up there afterwards

Excellent location. We were at the top of the building and the room was a good size with a great view of Heidelburg. Quiet at night time. Staff were very helpful and looked after us well.

Nobody can be reached in the “hotel” before 3 p.m., not even by phone. This means you can't even hand in your suitcases. So you're actually not renting a hotel room, but rather a tiny apartment. The room was on the upper floor, no elevator. Even if it is pointed out in the hotel description, there is no willingness from the staff to help with luggage. This is unacceptable, at least for older people. As mentioned, the room was tiny and minimalistic. The mattress was really bad, totally soft and sagging. You can't offer that to anyone, even if the price for the room is comparatively cheap.

It was quiet. The central location.

Good cozy place in the heart of a busy and very pretty and interesting city

There was a bit of noise in the evenings from the busy walking street. It was a little weird to just pay for the stay in the bar and never see any staff other than the bartenders and waitstaff. There is a particularly kind of relaxed and homely Irish pub that I really like, this one was the other kind (bit more busy and directed at tourists).

The room was clean and nice, not fancy but entirely adequate. Heidelberg's Altstadt is wonderful, and the Dubliner is in the heart of it. Lots of good eating options nearby - I didn't try the pub kitchen, but it also looked good.

Room in top floor was simple and clean, but rather hot and kitchen fumes from the restaurant came through the window and was present in the hallway outside.

Very central location in Heidelberg. Convenient access to all old town highlights.

There isn't an elevator to go to our room at the 4th floor. The accommodation was very dated and the so called view of the castle was not impressive.

The location is excellent in the city center, and the room was clean.

The check-in process is not easy as you must go to the bar and find someone. As the staff are busy with the bar patrons, this can take longer. The bathroom is small and the soap is a bar, very wasteful.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the Altstadt. The space is decent sized and the view is nice. You also get a 10% discount at the pub. There is an AC unit, very necessary on the top floor.

Check In Starts from 5:00 Pm but if you request earlier you might get what you want.

The location of the hotel and the staff. Its an hotel above the Dubliner Irish Pub where your check-in should be done by the Pub downstairs. Jerry on the Bar was so helpful, he checked for me, helped me with my luggage, and with all the questions i asked specifically its my first visited to Heidelberg. He also booked for me early taxi on my way back. In General it was great experience and i will book again in thi location.

For the money it would be hard to complain - perhaps that there was no lift - might be difficult for those with limited mobility ? Breakfast doesn't start until quite late but there is an excellent Cafe Blatt a few minutes walk away. Only consideration - I wasn't able to get a receipt/paid invoice for my stay and can't seem to get one now - Perhaps the pub could email one to me?

An excellent location for the Christmas markets. The Irish pub is very good. Friendly member of staff checked us in - we were a bit early too. A freindly atmosphere in the pub. The rooms are not the main point of this pub but our was comfortable and really good value for the money. An ideal stopover for a night or two. Reasonably priced - would be ideal for those with a limited budget. Would definitely stay there again!

The only issue I had was that I had to go to the bar to check in on Saturday afternoon. That may not always be a problem, but when the World Cup soccer game between England and France is on TV, it was a bit of a challenge!

I loved the location, and since I was traveling alone, I felt that it was a good, safe area. I also liked that it was in close proximity to everything I wanted to see.

Internet wasn't particularly fast or stable. The room, being so tiny, is ok either for a short stay or if you plan to stay out many hours a day

Excellent location, close to everything. My room under the roof was simple (there was boiler and tea tho) and really tiny, but being up there put some distance fromt the pretty noisy pub, so it was quite silent with the window closed. Keep in mind that it's an ancient building so it has narrow staircases and while this adds to the charm of the place, it can be a bit of a problem in some circumstances. There's some discount at the pub if you show your key. I didn't use the TV but it was there. Staff was nice and helpful.

Tiny but very cosy room, very clean, extremely helpful and nice staff. Authentic, nicely crowded pub downstairs. Nevertheless, the room (under the roof) was very quite. Uncomplicated check in and check out. Great location in the middle of the old town. Thanks a lot!
