I would say that some kind of extraction fan in bathroom would be good. I struggled to work the air con heater when I needed it. I had a double bed, but there were two single duvets on it , was not ideal These are suggestions to improve facilities but they are not criticisms. I didn't use the restaurant or spa facilities so I can't comment on that The reception and concierge team were very helpful.

The swimming pool costs an extra €20 per visit. I’ve never seen it. I’m sure it’s great BUT I booked for a leisure centre & pool inclusive in the price. It feels a bit like false advertising. However once I got over the shock I really like the location. East Berlin has such space!

I arrived a day early and stayed an extra night. I stayed in same room rather than check out and check back in again. This caused issues all weekend. My room keys stopped working and I didn’t have my room included for breakfast when it should have been. I explained this about 4 times but they never actually fixed it.

Pool access must be included into the room rate and kids shouldn't have a day limitation on accessing the pool. Pool access hours should be extended for adults at night.

Very great ambiance, hotel can store your luggage at no extra charges while touring around Europe, friendly staff.

The hotel is clean , cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean , comfortable and a good bathroom shower, the beds where very comfortable too. We had a lovely stay here and a really good location to the sights . Highly recommended.

This hotel was excellent in many ways. The staff were friendly and supportive. The room was spacious and well maintained, with all the facilities you might look for. While you had to pay €20 for the swimming pool and spa facilities, it was a day ticket, and still very good value for what was provided. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The ambience of the hotel was welcoming and relaxed. The sound proofing of the room made for a peaceful and relaxing stay overnight. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, the hotel had a spacious feel to it. Its location, with access to public transport, cafes and restaurants makes it a convenient hotel to stay in right in the heart of Berlin. I thought the rates offered were very good value considering it was over the Christmas period. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The spa area was a bit cold and the worker in the female changing rooms were not announcing themselves. Also a bit more friendlier staff at the reception. It’s a nice hotel so be happy you can work there.

Breakfast room looked very crowded, with lines for everything, so we were glad we hadn't bought breakfast. You should be able to add the pool to your bill, not have to pay on site.

Great location and nice service. Pool and sauna were nice. Nice that you can open the windows and there was room in the fridge for our stuff, unlike some hotels.

Tv isn’t a smart TV and no channels in English. The pillows are also very high, which hurt our necks.

Not the best customer service. We arrived at 2pm so an hour before check in after a long train journey. We were told to come back at 3 for check in and we left our bags and went off to do so. Arriving back at 2.50pm we were met with a queue of 50 people waiting to check in. Crazy that we weren’t told - hey please just get a coffee in the lobby and wait a little because we have a huge crowd due to check in and we will process yours as soon as we can. Also - ok we didn’t read the small print - but 40 euro per day for a couple to use the swimming pool facilities seems a little steep….
