How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was a little stuffy , felt like the heating was on , slept with the balcony door open , so that was nice ,

The room was extremely dirty - the walls were dirty with all kinds of grime and dirt, there was even dishwasher soap sprayed over the walls near the kitchenette. The walls near the bed were dusty and were dirty. The bed underneath the sheets was super dirty - lots of hair and other gross things.
Easy to check-in, easy to find and the location was very centrally located. The river view is great and quiet at night, which lets you sleep fine. The balcony is also a nice addition. The city center is a close walk away.

The kitchenette was not really functional. It is positioned under the staircase so that when someone walks up or downstairs all the dust goes in what you’re cooking. Moreover, the fridge didn’t close well so it was not possible to put food inside of it. We asked for assistance at the reception but the staff was not able to help us. The cleaning service was not efficient and at our arrival some kitchen supplies and towels were dirty.
The position of the property is nice. It is a few minutes walking from the U Bahn and the tram stop. The view on the river was also nice.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped - no saucepans, glasses. The apartment smelled of cigarette smoke and was not very clean. We had trouble getting into the apartment; despite giving a specific arrival time there was no-one at reception and it took 4 attempts to ring through to the central hotel. Free parking on the streets nearby was difficult but not impossible. The living area was very cramped. But for a one bedroom apartment in Frankfurt it seems to be the best value we could find.
Very good location near the river. There was an Aldi opposite which was useful. When the receptionist was there, he was very friendly and helpful.

cleaning persons work early and make loud noise. the doors on the lower floors think it’s 2nd and/or 3rd floor close very loudly by default unless one holds it. Other early risers or guest trying to make that 6am flight don’t know and bang you will hear it. or cleaners will at between 8am to 9:15am for sure plus vacuuming.
the “twin”bed is what I booked and I’m glad I did because the single bed looks tinier then any tiny “bed” I have ever slept on in any part of this geography. Anna/Ana (sorry for spelling ) is their go to professional and very accommodating. plus she speaks English (for me), German if you need.

I like it dark for sleeping or napping purposes. the top “skylight” while cool , I had to put on my hat over my eyes. it’s about 15 to 20 feet high so couldn’t block it. though I have no complains just info for those who are light sensitive.
the internal architecture. small. private. Anna or Ana (sorry for spelling ) was very professional and accommodating . to accommodate my extra night stay by opening up 3-4 person room on the top floor for me (solo) had to pay extra which is well worth the sleep as opposed to saving a few bucks and moving. Ana could communicate in several languages and be professional and accommodating too.

It was a little dusty under the bed and spider web on the roof.
I'm a solo traveler and booked a Family Room here (I like space) and I absolutely loved the room. It had an amazing view over the Main. The beds were super comfy and the mini kitchen and bathroom I have nothing to complain about. There is a cabinet to hang your stuff in too. Staff was absolutely the nicest guy! So sweet and very helpful!

The first room we got had dirty sheets that were also torn. The fridge didn't close properly. Because we arrived late in the afternoon we waited for the next morning to speak with the front desk (there was no one around until the next morning). We complained and received the keys to a new room. The new room had dirty sheets and a broken fridge as well. We complained and went with the person from the front desk to a third room which was also dirty. Finally, the forth room had a working fridge and the sheets weren't dirty but the room itself had so much dust that it was rolling around the room.
It was relatively close to the center of town but with it being so dirty I would not recommend it at all.
