Room refreshments were very basic. Instant coffee and though free items in minibar, they are not what I would choose. Hotel is quite old and can hear people in adjacent or above rooms, or coming up the stairs.

Lovely location. Short walk to several cafes and to the river. Generally quiet.

Unfortunately housekeeping missed making up my room while I was out for the day, but it was not a major issue.

The hotel combines two neighbouring villas and is quite beautiful. Excellent breakfast and facilities. It's nice to know that there are meeting rooms available.

Unfortunately, the room was a bit too small and did not have much space to store your luggage. Apart from that, we felt that the breakfast had room for improvement for the price we paid as there was not much variety in terms of rolls, bread, fruits, juices and spread. Also, there were not enough parking lots available for the hotel guests. Especially in the evening, the parking lots of the hotel were mostly taken and you had to look elsewhere in the neighbourhood to park your car. This was slightly inconvenient.

The hotel is located in a quiet and very green neighbourhood which is characterised by houses from the Art Nouveau era. Even though the hotel does not have a staffed bar, hotel guests are able to have a drink in a comfy seating corner with drinks available based on an honour system which, in our view, is customer-friendly. Furthermore, the hotel offers outdoor seating in a nice and quiet garden, especially for breakfast in the warmer seasons.

Stopped over on way home. Easy to locate in a beautiful residential, quiet and safe area by the Rhine. Room was spotless and had everneeded. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was spot on in lovely room looking onto garden.

Although the room was comfortable: good beds and pillows, good reading lights and nice bathroom, the uber-modern furnishing was stark and unwelcoming and did not match the beautiful exterior of the inn.

We loved the location of this hotel which is in a beautiful neighborhood with lovely big historic homes. The receptionist carried our heavy bags up 4 flights of stairs for us, which far exceeded expectations and a full breakfast which was included in the price was served in a bright and welcoming dining room. There was also free and safe street parking close to the inn.

This is something I also told them - there is a difference between what they understand by double bed and what is listed on Booking - unless booking a room with a king bed, you may end up getting a room with two twin beds one next to another, instead of a single, double bed. So, while the bed(s) were very comfortable, them separating during the night was not so brilliant. (slippery floor, not enough rope to bind them together.)

Everything great, extremely nicely modernised and redecorated villa(s) - joined by a corridor. Don't worry about arriving late - they'll sort you out. Very clean, quality food, nice atmosphere, extremely polite and helpful staff.

Limited parking spots available in front of the Hotel. After the dinner I was not able to find a spot available and was obliged to park a bit far from the hotel.

Excellent experience at Villa Godesberg, the staff was extremely helpful and cooperative, the room was more above my expectation, it was clean and confortable.

- As others have mentioned, this hotel has many stairs and no elevators. We just managed to heave our luggage up the stairs to the first floor, but it was a bit of a hassle. - We were disappointed that we had two single beds pushed together on wheels as our main bed. It kept slipping away, and it almost felt like our stay was an afterthought. - The breakfast was okay, but we didn’t think it merited the “excellent” reviews that other patrons gave it. We’d recommend eating out if you can.
