The hostel is far away from Munich center, you have to take the metro or train to go to the main attractions. Also, even though each room has an inside bathroom, the shower is not really a shower. It's a hole in the wall with plumbing and a shower curtain. When anybody showers, the water gets all over the floor, so if you need to use the toilet after somebody has showered, there is a pool of water in the floor so it gets muddy. The hostel does not provide any towels or paper to dry the floor or your hands. Also, there is a mess with the lockers assignment. The reception assigns lockers, but not beds when you check in. The locker may not be under the bed you selected. So, it becomes a problem if you take the locker under your bed that was not assigned to you because somebody else may come in and claim it.

The kitchen is spectacular. Love the fact that is well equipped and that there is a dishwasher which is emptied every night. There is also plenty of space in the refrigerator to keep your food. The dinner table is big enough to accommodate 8 people. There is an elevator and laundry machines in the hotel. The personnel is very helpful and they make sure you are comfortable.

The room was quite warm, but temperature controls are available in the room, so there is some room for adjustment. The 6-person room is quite cramped (overlapping ladders) and the locker below the bed was a bit difficult to read the numbers on, but staff were on hand to open the locker when it didn't open.

Staff were helpful and available around the clock. The location near the Ostbahnhof is very convenient with fast and easy transport around Munich. Curtains on the bed help keep most of the light out and increase privacy. Luggage storage lockers are available for a small fee if you arrive early or want to stay in Munich after checkout.

Breakfast was disappointing - no juice, no cereal. No toaster - just a panini press with a long wait. Don’t even have water out. What they did have was good, but limited.

Brand new building that is immaculate. Easy to get to via S-Bahn. Facilities are excellent. Top notch hostel. Lots of food options close by.

As the werksviertel is also known for parties, be prepared for a lot od noise until 1-2am. Also the doors are not really soundproof, so you will constantly hear people coming and leaving. Room could have been a little cleaner.

Amazing location, right in the heart of the werksviertel and perfect for concerts in the tonhalle. Comfy bed and spacious room.

Pretty annoying was the thing that you couldn’t choose the bed And you had to put the bedding by yourself which was annoying bc I arrived late and had the upper bed. Woke up my roommates and think for the price they could do the bed as they do in other hostels as well

The Hostel is located just next to Ostbahnhof train station. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the bed comes with a curtain for privacy. There is a big kitchen to cook and a nice Chillout area, where you can stay even after you check out.

The only thing I didn't like was that it would be easy to mess it up with the password of the lockers, but the staff was more than helpful to assist you in any inconvenience.

Cool and helpful staff, very clean hostel, comfortable beds with privacy, 2 bathrooms in each room, very clean as well. We had hot water. The location is very good, a train station is nearby, but if you wanna walk until the Old Town is walkable. Very good and cheap breakfast, with the stuff there very friendly and helpful, communicating as well. If you are a solo traveler, I would recommend this place. It is very good for a couple of nights.They have lockers and they organize activities on the ground floor.
