Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaDress code for man to wear pants at dinner time is ridicioulous. Its hot, uncomfortable, ppl often dont even have pants to wear. And people wearing jogging pants is not adding much for sofisticated atmosphere that hotel is trying to implement with this weird dress code requirements

United KingdomWe liked everything, even the morning table serenades.
This hotel was everything and we had a special time here gaining a week we will always remember. Unfortunately during the hour taxi ride to the hotel I became embarrassingly ill with heat exhaustion and had to stop the taxi but the driver was so polite. We walked into the hotel lobby (me a little worse for wear) and were met by a gorgeous view of the sea, and later I was welcomed by the much appreciated air conditioning in our room. An evening swim in the sea got me back to normal whilst we listened to a performance of Abbas hits swimming under the stars. Everything we needed was here; the sea a 30 second skip and jump away with a ladder which was fun to climb after cocktails, the view, friendly staff, friendly guests, lovely food, impeccable service at breakfast, champagne at breakfast, plenty of space inside and out, nightly entertainment. We never needed to leave the hotel except to visit Lidl which was a 20 minute walk away. We knew the town was also a 20 minute walk away along the coastal path but we never had a desire to leave our lovely hotel because every morning we felt more like we were at home until we dragged our feet to the taxi home with sad faces. In the mornings we would be serenaded by a quartet of what sounded like moving tables and chairs, or beds. But it never woke us and was never too early and we always managed to have a sleep in feeling well rested. By the end of our stay we became used to these morning songs. Leaving this hotel was a sad day.

AustraliaAfter 3 nights in the same room, I had to change rooms due to a bad sewage smell. You are required to pay an additional fee to use the safe within the room which I find a little odd. Particularly given the rooms in the proximity to room 308 (towards the very end of the long hallway), all looked liked they had all been broken into (refer to images). The hotel is mainly tailored to German tourist, therefore most signage was in German or Spanish. Staff do however make an effort to speak English.
The location was great. A 15 minute walk along the coast to the main town. The selection for breakfast + dinner rotated on a daily basis, which kept things interesting. Plenty of options for a Gluten Free traveler. The pool area and spa are lovely! I enjoyed two massages at the spa within the hotel (male therapist).

Czech RepublicWe received lower level room than we ordered, unfortunately I noticed that few days before leaving. We were given a discount because of that.

IrelandPoolside food could be a little better, pizza and chicken burger was ok, but do not the beefburger - it's pretty bad!
The hotel was fanatastic and pretty much exactly what we expected. It is a little walk into the town of Cala Ratjada, but we enjoyed the 15-20 coastal path every evening. There is a lovely swimming area which is lovely and clear - I even bought some snorkling gear to enjoy the sea bottom which a lot of others were doing the same. We booked a mountain view room, but where lucky enough to get a side section with a limited sea view. A mountain view room is basically overlooking in the front carpart with very limited mountain view. I imagine the sea view rooms to be absolutely fantastic, but a little more expensive. Staff, service, breakfast all very good. There is also evening entertainment and we where lucky to get Elvis one night, and ABBA the next.

Czech RepublicIt can be seen that the hotel is starting to age, plaster is peeling somewhere, there is mold somewhere in the room, I think this is a big problem.
We liked the location, the hotel is right next to the water. There are many fir trees and beautiful air. Good breakfast, varied. Room cleaning every day. Free towels, sunbeds and umbrellas.

FinlandThe staff was very friendly and accommodating. The views were beautiful. The breakfast was tasty and had a lot of options. It's definitely a great value for the money. Ultimately we came to Mallorca for those perfect Calas with turquoise water and there isn't a very close one to this hotel that we liked which is why we changed and went to another hotel on the other side of the island. FYI this is a very popular area for German holidaymakers - most of the staff at the resort and the nearby Caja Rajada didn't speak English :)

United KingdomPerhaps a bit more inclusion for countries other than German. Other than that, it was great.
We had a lovely stay, with fantastic stays of our room. Everything is clean, the food is amazing with lots of choice. Almost every drink you could want is included with AI. It's a short walk to the town and the main beach. The spa is good and decent treatments for a good price. I would say that is a predominantly German hotel, like 95% minimum. All the menus are in Spanish and German and staff speak German too. The plus side is great German beer, but that is the language you'll hear 99% of the time.

Romania- everything was perfect
Everything was great. The view to the sea is unbelievable, i saw the most beautiful sunrise from our balcony and to sleep hearing the waves is something magic. The food is very good and lots of choices, the staff is very friendly and they are so nice, especially Mario and Adrian who served us at the pool bar, they really enjoy their job and it was a pleasure to know them. Also we enjoyed the SPA area, live music show every night, gym class in the pool was fun too. Our only regret is that we stayed only 2 nights, but for sure there will be a next time,

United KingdomOn my booking I asked for a quiet room as I am a light sleeper and they said OK. They booked me into a room right infront of the elevators and stairs and so I got woken up until 2am in the morning. They did change my room then within half an hour that morning. During breakfast I felt the dried bits at bottom on a few plates so need to make sure these are washed properly.
I had a very delayed arrival and so only arrived at 4am in the morning. I communicated to them via my booking app and they were so sweet they even arranged some dinner for me for free. They also arranged to have milk in my room for coffee for when I wake up in the morning. The reception staff were great. They made me feel special and were very helfpul. The management and staff at front desk had great communication and service. Swimming pool is nicely located and big. There was a water aerobics class on Friday morning which was very fun. Enough loungers by the pools so no issue getting a bed. The view is great and there is access to the rocks and sea where you can swim. Breakfast has a good selection, worth the money and I am glad I had breakfast included in booking. Lunch menu by the pool area has a good selection, a bit basic but there was options so you can have different things each day. Would be nice if the cocktail menu had english in as well. I like that its in a more residential area away from the buzz of the town but still only a beautiful 20minute walk from there. The spa has some good options and more beds outside on the grass area, access till 8pm which was nice.

LuxembourgWe expected the hotel to be close to the beach but had to walk for 40min to get there. Eventually, we decided to rent a car after a few days, because everything was kind of far. Personnel always assumed we were German and spoke in German even after we replied in English. I booked a massage worth 40€ at the reception but wasn't informed there was a "welcome massage" for 20€. Only found out once I went to the spa area on the day I had already booked.
Lots to choose from at breakfast, but not so much for people who want to eat a sweet breakfast but cannot eat gluten. Only a gluten-free baguette, but it's better than nothing. The pool was amazing. The hotel was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing.

Location, location, location. Easy access to the sea - ladder (no nead to go throug any long sandy beach). Sea view. Great snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Cala Rajada city center is only a short walk away (20-30 min.). Good food.
