It’s a rambling hotel catering for large numbers of people - the food is canteen quality with limited options apart from the 3 course meal in the restaurant. The bar only did sandwiches and chips and was understaffed

It was a great place for a dog, there were a lot of people with dogs, but the property has so much space - so it is great , a lot of pet friendly facilities inside . I like there are a lot of beautiful tracks right outside the hotel , great location for hiking . Amazing breakfast!

The rooms were quite old but fine, however bathrooms were quite tiny considering all that was fitted in them. And replacing the weird bathtub with a normal shower would definitely improve things greatly.

There are not many options to choose from in this area. But we enjoyed the stay very much. The rooms were average but the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good too. Dinner was gorgeous and very rich on options and I can definitely recommend it. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets in which you can pick from whatever you like. They make steaks during the dinner and omelets for breakfast on top of what the buffet offers. For dinner a jar of water is included in the price but you also can purchase additional drinks and wines. Next to the lobby there is also a cafeteria with great hot chocolate ;), which is a good option to warm up a bit when returning from the cold weather outside.

If you're hungry from 17h to 20h, there is almost no food options, only a frozen pizza at the cafe. This was pretty absurd, because our friend had a dog with him and we couldn't sit and relax ANYWHERE since only the main restaurant is pet friendly and it is closed at this time. So we couldn't sit at the cafe with the dog, where the pizza was available, and all other areas were close. This was for sure the worst problem of our stay, we had to sit outside in the cold since we couldn't leave the dog alone in the room but we couldn't sit with the dog anywhere :(

The room was really comfortable: beds, shower, towels, bedding, bathtub and heating were great. Breakfast and dinner also had great options of food - I am allergic to sea food and I thought in one of the dinners there were too many seafood options, so I ate basically potato and vegetables 😂 but they were good!

There are several restaurants in the hotel, all are quite bad and offer very little variety, especially when it comes to vegetarian options. There is only one water fountain that is a short walk outside of the hotels, which makes it difficult to fill up water bottles after the sun goes down. There was also very little text in English, almost everything is in Spanish, which is weird considering it is a hotel that is expect to attract tourists.

The location is stunning, the skiing was very enjoyable and every where you look the view is beautiful.

The breakfast whilst of very good range and quality was one where all of the key items were kept behind Perspex screens, with one having to ask item by item. Unless it was quiet and/or you spoke good Spanish and were very assertive it ended up being de facto rationing and not being a relaxed and enjoyable affair. The tea, coffee and toast (but not the butter or jam!) you could help yourself to: presumably as these are lower value items. This very unsatisfactory breakfast system was also used for the evening buffet - which is why we ate in the bar both nights. This was a shame as the view through the restaurant windows were as good as they come: straight up to the impressive mountains and valleys behind the hotel.

The location was unbeatable - in the middle of unspoilt and scenic mountains with plenty of walking directly from the hotel. Getting to the hotel via the rack railway, an engineering feat in itself, was a very scenic journey - and booking it via the hotel gives one a discount of around 40% on the tickets. The room was very comfortable and very well decorated (we had opted for a deluxe room) but was certainly on the small side. The bar was very good - competitive prices (especially considering the captive audience) and nice service. Excellent information boards dealing with the fauna, flora, geography, history & culture (along with informative, well made videos) were set up in the immediately adjacent Nuria Valley visitor centre. Despite some reservations over the way breakfast was served (= rationed), we would definitely consider staying here again thanks to the opportunities that the unique location provides. All the staff were professional and friendly, from reception to the cleaners.

Place is clean but quite old, staff goes from nice to cold, could be a bit more cheerful. The real downside is the food, it's average at best. Grill is good, all the rest seems to be heated industrial stuff. Would much prefer half the choice at the buffet but better quality

Nature and surroundings are just perfect for a break from city life. Price is affordable to be in the middle of nature

Staff should know a bit more about what they serve. Very confused about the beers available and the kinds they serve.

Breakfast was buffet with Catalan and continental food. A great breakfast! In general, the food was on point. The room was cozy with a window with nice views to the valley. The bathroom was clean with good water temperature and pressure. The facilities are in great condition: the cafe, the lounge, all the outdoors are pristine clean and beautiful!
