The menu in the evenings was a bit hit and miss but Giovanni gives good advice! The pool area got a little busy towards the end of our stay, but the spa pool is always empty…

Pula Suites is far from the madding crowds, it is a quiet, small resort in the countryside with an exclusive feel to it. The frontline staff were really excellent; in particular the head waiter, Hans, who is extremely kind and attentive, Nati, who makes a great sangría and a fab nonalcoholic mojito and is very cheerful and friendly, Giovanni who gives great advice about the menu, Pep at the pool cafe is a real pro and Antonio welcomed us warmly on reception and saw that we had supper at the bar even though we arrived very late at night. They all work really hard, long hours and put in a big effort with a big smile.

The Bar Area could do with some Air Conditioning to make it more appealing in the evening maybe after a meal. As its very hot in July.. It can be a little too quiet at times for myself, as I like to socialise, but thats a personal thing really...

We stayed in a Three Level Suite and it was amazing.. Great Air Conditioning Unit as well, as was very hot when we visited. Up to 36/37 Degrees.. Food was amazing as was the Staff (Friendly and Professional).. The S'Oronella Restaurant is very good, but as we were on the Inclusive Package we only used it the once, as its extra.. The food in the rest of the complex is very good anyway, so I think its worth doing one night for sure even if on the Inclusive Package.

I probably chose the wrong suite as the steps inside were sometimes an issue. We got used to them but would have preferred fewer steps.

We loved everything. No complaints at all. The setting was amazing. For a chill out holiday it is the right place to be. Probably a car is needed to get around the island but we went to attend a wedding so it wasn't really necessary.

It would have been nice to have some sort of bar snacks available in the evening. We only had a choice of the half board menu (huge portions) or the a la carte which had to be booked a day in advance. There were no options for a small snack in the evening.

It is nothing I did not like, but I would suggest the hotel to try and follow-up with the Google Maps to insert recent photos at the streets view. It is really a pity for one to find such old photos on Google Maps streets view showing a desolate surrounding area only because those very old photos in Google Maps were not updated lately. At present time all the villas and the resort are beautifully surrounded with astonishing gardens, full with flowers and trees and a lot of natural green is the definitory aspect today (rather than the desolating pictures from 2011 still shown on the streets view).

The location is superb, the hotel staff is very professional and attentive. Resort amenities fulfill any desire in terms of comfort and exclusive treatment. A special bonus for the resort's very close relation with the adjacent Golf course (something very beneficial for the customers) which really made all the difference by thus having all services at once: the hotel with his excellent spa, plus the golf course, and all the three restaurants cumulated from both locations.

The overall interior is not of 5 star quality. Additionally, all water and other drinks in the refrigerator in the room are available for a fee. The free water was poured into a bottle and felt unsanitary. We had an all-inclusive plan, but some restaurants are not available. Additional charges apply. To eat at a restaurant included in your plan, breakfast and dinner must all be at the same restaurant. We brought some silver cutlery for the kids, and before we knew it, it was put away and gone. I am saddened to have lost Narumi's precious cutlery that I brought from Japan. The couch in the guest room was filthy and her husband suffered from her sinus infection during our stay. The cleaning staff also kept sneezing.

The poolside restaurant is delicious and the staff are great. The trees and flowers in the building were perfectly maintained and beautiful.

We were there for a wedding (as were most other guests that weekend) and we needed to iron a shirt, we were not able to get one despite asking to borrow one multiple times over 24 hours and ended up having to use their paid-for ironing service (which they eventually agreed to not charge us for). We also had a problem with the door to our suite locking and came back one day to find that housekeeping had not closed the door properly and the door was wide open for anyone to walk in. We notified reception about this but she did not seem very interested.

The layout of the hotel is really nice and the pool area is big enough to house a lot of guests comfortably. The breakfast selection is extensive and the staff are really friendly. The pool bar is lovely and the food is excellent there. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay with a couple of issues mentioned below - nothing that could not be easily resolved.

The hotel staff were super friendly and really helpful. We can't thank them enough for arranging the lovely bouquet that made our proposal plan go smoothly. The hotel had awesome facilities and everything was super clean. The housekeeping staff were also really professional, and our room was always cozy and tidy when we returned each night. Our trip was absolutely amazing thanks to them!

staff are exceptional hosts. ammenities, whilst slightly tired are excellent. the dining experience was exceptional.
