I did not like the location. It was a horror to be able to find the homestay. The house number was not available on booking.com. It just mentioned the name of the street. I spent around 1.5 to 2 hours looking for the homestay but was in vain. The phone number of the host did not work as well. I was fortunately saved as the host got in touch with me on WhatsApp. Therefore, the fact that the precise location is not mentioned anywhere on booking.com is troublesome.

The room was decently sized with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also clean and nice. The host was generous enough to escort me out of the homestay for dinner and get me back. It was a decent stay!

I think the major thing is that its a walk to town and taxi's aren't really that available. The family accommodated and even drove me to town, which is a 20 minute walk. It is a quiet place (the town) and there isn't much infrastructure, but it met my needs.

Honestly, I wasn't aware this was a homestay, but that turned into the best part. The family is amazing and made me so warm and welcome.

There was no clear sign which house was the accommodation. No instructions on access once arrived. There was a For Sale sign, which made us very confused. There are no instructions about what facilities are for guests, e.g., kitchen and cookware. One of the children was repeatedly knocking on the bedroom door and almost entering, including early in the morning.

Very close to BAD scuba diving, very helpful with recommendations, finding us taxi and drop us off.

It's not a hotel, not a hostel, it's a bedroom inside a house in which lives a family with 3 kids and a dog. Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen (only the refrigerator, but I couldn`t cook, and the restaurants are located more then 1 km away). Fortunately, I find a restaurant (Vakia) which delivery service, so I stopped to walk 2 km (to go and come back) for each meal. The bathroom is used for other people in the house. The services recommended for the owner were the most expensive in the region (for dives, drivers, etc.). Also to have food in the house is more expensive then in the restaurants. There is only a very small table to use a computer in the room, and there are three kids and a dog which leaves in the house with the couple, so was a little difficult to study for my diving course in the living room. If you arrive late (after 10 PM), there is no food available to buy in the region, you will be hungry until the next day.

The bedroom is big.

I couldn't lock the key all the time. Fortunately no one entered while my stay. I killed 17 cockroaches in 7nights. If you close the window it's too hot. If you open window without mosquito nets, cockroaches will be flying to you. And also mosquitos. Owners couple were yelling to other guest. I don't care the reason but didn't wanna see it.

Nothing..all was good.

Host were very accomodative despite booking at the last minute. Room is big and spacious. Facilities are very clean. Cheapest accommodation around the area and in a quite neighborhood. Highly Recommended

This place is NOT an Eco Villa accomodation. Is just a Homestay. There is no clear indications how to get to the place, and whatever they offer (breakfast, dinner) is expensive and you can get something better near the road. Just be ready to share with kids and a dog as well. But all that is the good thing about this place. The aggressiveness of the host and her bullying is just something booking.com should be aware of. Please if you are reading these DONT GO. Just pay the same price, but go to an hotel or a different place. Save yourself. There are many other comments about the attitude of the host, I was foolish enough to ignore them, so don’t make the same mistake please.

Just stayed for one night for the shark dive. The family is so nice! I had dinner with them and they gave me a lot of tips about Fiji, also the less known spots. Would recommend this place!

- Deceiving and confusing information on the website, first welcome, was told that they only hosted international guest which was not stated on the website. - Cleanliness, safety, security was not to satisfaction and amenities stated on website for guest use, was not allowed eg wifi, sitting n dining room n kitchen. No secured room or keys given, bare room with used toothbrush, used toiletries for our use. Host were rude and unfriendly.

Our special request for early check in for 1hr earlier was met, since we had to attend a wedding at 3pm which was their actual check in time, to get dressed.
