Signage on the front of the property was discreet and in keeping with the character but couldn't compete with the more gaudy signs on the street. This made the property difficult to locate. An image of the frontage on the booking info. would solve this. Other images also under sold the best features of the interior including the entrance and staircase.

Warning on site that they were 3 sets of steps to floor on which room located. Fine for me but for older/ less mobile people could be a problem. Also the lighting on the stairwells was a little dim - could be better lit.

Location was brilliant. Centre of town and only a few minutes walk from the train station. Room very comfortable with all advertised facilities in place and I’m working order.

The booking process was extremely confusing. We had to pay through an external portal, and Booking was showing that payment was incomplete. Had to do a long conversation to understand what we had to do. Should be way easier and simple. That was the only stressful situation, the rest we enjoyed.

The location is amazing, next to the main square and to the train station. The room itself is huge and very well designed with a vintage touch, which we loved.

Real room and apartment do not match pictures on site, which was very deceiving. Check out at 10h its ridiculous, and makes guests walk around many hours with bags Option to store bags after check out not available.

Apartment was too hot with air conditioning either broken or just not up to scratch. I definitely got it switched on but it made little difference to room temp.

Superb location, easy to follow instructions to gain access without ever meeting any staff. Fancy shower. Sensibly sized apartment.

Nothing, it did get a little hot in the evening but that is to be expected being close to the Mediterranean. Maybe some AC but the fan provided did cut through the heat.

Very easy access, all details were sent via WhatsApp and it was detailed enough to manage without the need for staff to be present. The location itself is a stone's throw away from the Airport Shuttle bus stop. It's also very central to all of the shops, buildings to see and food and drink. Everything is within walking distance. The building is beautiful, clearly an old building turned accommodation, high ceilings, lovely decor and the entryway is amazing.

Confused about gaining entrance to the property. In all fairness, the contact I had on Messenger was very responsive and helpful.

Noise from the street and neighbours shouting 11pm-5am (not that the host could have done a lot about this but it shows the sound proofing isn't great) we didn't sleep much at all. There's no city view which is fine but it does say there is one (looks out into a wall). Bathroom could do with a bit of updating.

There was a lot of noise from the street in the early hours of the morning. No sound proof windows. Too many stairs with no elevator. Very dark and dingy as you open the door from the street - needs more light

Shabby, but not chic. Everything done as cheaply as possible, peeling paint, 2 burner hob. single bedside light for a double bed. Irritating joining instructions saying we weren’t allowed to jump on the bed, and had to sit down to rinse in a bath, and that we’d be charged if we even slightly late checking out.

Unfortunately it was 33c degrees when we arrived in Carcassonne. The one fan did not keep the room cool. Air conditioning is needed.

Very clean and spacious. Location great for shops, restaurants, bars and train station. Old building. Modern kitchen.

There was some noise from the shop in street below so if you a light sleeper bring ear plugs. It didn't bother me though . One other thing, no stopped in the bath.

Right in the centre. Everything was as it said in the tin. I had a nice night sleep here before early departure to airport. I stored my bike in the little room just inside the front door.

No blinds in bedroom. Although the hot tub was awesome, there's no shower to just simply take a regular shower.

Location. It's located in a quiet street. The hot tub was the best after a long day walking.
