Only the food really could be improved. The person on check in didn't speak good English so seemed a little brusque, but that is a failure in us not knowing a language.

The room was clean, and comfortable. The shower worked well, and a kettle was much appreciated. The dinner was basic but adequate, we didn't have breakfast so no comment on that. Loved having direct access to outside space for our pooch. There is a Lidl directly opposite if you want to buy anything. The car was parked nearby. Very good value.

I could'nt find fault with anything.

The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The room was excellent, warm , confortable, and well equipped. I booked because there was a restaurant on site. The meal was simple but very plesant. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all friendly and helpful.We really enjoyed our stay.

The beds are very comfortable and large, as is the room itself. The facilities are good with the kettle in the room. We liked the fact that each room has it's own entrance and there was ample parking. Will use this hotel again.

I did not check before about the exact location, since it was just a place for one night. Since there is an active military airport there was a lot of noise.

The hotel is nice, if you want to go to the city center it is recommended to use a taxi. Staff was really freindly. Breakfast was very good.

The kettle was dirty inside and I had to turn off the heating in room 21 because the thermostat kept making a clicking noise so we were a bit cold.

Unfortunately, what colored my whole experience was the "welcome" I received from the guy at the front desk. Let me preface this by saying that I had just spent 2 HOURS walking to this place from the train station, in the rain, because Ubers and taxis were non-existent. Couple that with already having a bad cold. Okay, so I arrived clearly looking drenched and not happy. However, not wanting to be the ugly American, my first words were, I am sorry, I don't speak French. The response was very smug and sarcastic, and in English: "Well, I'm sorry. I don't speak English!" And I thought, hmm, what happens now? He begrudgingly asked for my name and managed, against his better judgment, it would seem, to complete the check-in. I figured at that point there was no sense in telling him that I did not understand what he had rattled off. However, he did show me using his fingers when both dinner and breakfast began. That was appreciated. All this before I cracked the room door open. The bathroom: the grout between the tiles in the shower had most likely not been cleaned in a very long time. That is inexcusable. The chrome fittings were covered with prints and smears. Also inexcusable. I had to clean those myself before considering using the less-than-inviting shower. I am not sure how to comment on the room cleaning process. The two people doing it were very sweet and accommodating. It was obvious they had not been trained to clean a room, which was not their fault. Or the motel chain trains commensurate with the price you are paying for the room. However, I ended up paying more for this motel room than I did for the wonderful boutique hotel I stayed at in Lisbon. Let's be honest; this is a motel, not a hotel. Hotels are enclosed, have hallways, and feature inside entrances to all the rooms. This is what we in America used to call a motor hotel = a motel.

The room was tiny yet comfortable enough. I really liked the long desk along the window. The internet worked reliably. The one time I did go down to eat, Mr. Smug was there. Luckily, there was a sweet young woman who took my order. I did my best to order in French. She understood. The meal was fine. I also like that many restaurants delivered right to my door. When check-out time came around, I lucked out again. A nice lady who asked if I spoke French. I replied un peu. So she proceeded to show her screen and point to the invoice charges. That worked just fine. I thanked her!

Old, stained carpets in poor condition. Being used for refugee, they were not a problem but you.don’t expect to find this in a commercial hotel. Not up to campanile standards
