Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLots of hidden extra charges after booking on here. Bedding and sheets were not provided. We had to completely clean the accommodation or we had to pay a cleaning fee of 90 euros extra. We also had to pay a 250eur deposit on arrival. The multi sport facilities are extremely tired and not really functional. All of the equipment was very old and some was broken. The mini golf was unusable.
The accommodation itself was lovely. There was ample space per plot for a car without intruding on neighbours. The location is absolutely stunning. The pool was great for our little boy to cool off and play.

United KingdomCustomer service is very poor/non existing. Bar area did not serve all the time and it seemed understaffed. Did not manage to get any food as was told at random times they were not serving, this was between 12-3. Facilities like mini golf is not up to standard, and there are a lot of potholes. Our lodge was advertised with a hot tub, we arrived to a disgusting/filthy Swedish bath which is not what is advertised. The cover to this was dangerous and broken so could not use this. Bed in our main bedroom was broken and throws were not cleaned between visits. I would expect each lodge to have a good clean but ours had a musty smell on arrival which meant we spent the first hours cleaning including the so called hot tub.
Really liked the pool area for children. Gated to keep everyone safe when inside. The accommodation was ok but a little tired, did the job though. We were in lodge 90 which is an older lodge but newer lodges are nicer. Communal areas were really good and clean. Really good location. Safe for children to roam freely.

Great place for cycling trips: L'Alpe d'Huez, Col du Galibier, Col du Glandon and others, There is a swimming pool on site, so you can cool off after a long day of pedaling :)

United KingdomThe campsite is a bit tired in places and desperately needs investment. We felt the campsite was very expensive compared to others that offer better facilities, but we were prepared to pay for it because we love the location and privacy. It's very positive that the site has new managers and hopefully now that we are well out of the COVID years there will be some investment.
This was our 2nd short stay and we love the beautiful location surrounded by mountains, and the privacy of all the plots. A new management team had just started when we arrived and they were very professional and friendly. We love the area - swimming at the fantastic municipal pool in Allemond, mooching around Bourg d'Oisans, and using the ski lifts to spend time in the mountains (our son had a fantastic day mountain biking).

United KingdomCampsite roads are a little rough.
booked as a stopover for an Alp D Huez cycling break. the site is centrally located for ADH , the glandon and Croix de Fer. the bar restaurant was closing but the limited Pizza and Tapas options were more than enough . the caravan was a little older than expected but it was fiully equipped and everything worked ok. Poll ect was a good option if you are travelling with Children and the views are amazing

United KingdomThe only thing was that the 'shop' onsite was not very big at all, but there were some good local shops.
Location perfect for a cycling holiday, small site with tiny shop but good bar food and pool big enough for the size of site. Air con in mobile home was great and the outdoor 'verandah' space was good.

United KingdomIt was a little too close to the next cabin. They could have been better positioned so the view of the cabin is not obstructed by the other cabin.
Nice cabin, well located camping site. Host was lovely and polite. We were lucky the camping site was very empty! Well-equiped kitchen and comfy bed.
