Bad showerhead, aprox 5 minut until hot water in shower, Wery thin Walls, and the floor is making sounds, so remember Ear plugs.

Nice breakfast, clean, small, free coffee/the 24/7, Sweet and friendly staff. I would not Call it a hotel but B&B.

Shower head leaked and the room was quite basic but it was all I needed for a couple of days.

Lovely fresh continental breakfast, easy check in and close to everything you need in morzine.

Stayed there last year as well. The breakfast facilities were not as good as last year. The offering was similar in terms of type of continental breakfast and cereal but was always lacking in terms of content/amount available and even available cutlery and coffee mugs. Last year we had boiled eggs (which was nice) but none this year. It wasn't as good as last year.

Location and convenience. Rooms are basic but reasonable and beds are surprisingly comfortable. Towels in the room. Shower facilities are basic but usable. Bike storage is great. We like staying there. We only use it as a base as we are out all day anyway.

Not that it effected the stay and some of the property has clearly been refurbished recently which looks great but as a consequence makes the rest look a little tired.

It was an excellent location, free parking convenient opposite and the staff were super friendly

The Nant didn’t live up to the photos. It looks much cozier and cleaner online. Our bathroom smelt a little mouldy too. And there was quite a lot of dust in corners of rooms.

Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast and nice atmosphere in reception.

We realised our mattresses were upside down meaning the first night, before we realised, we slept terribly. Also, the shower drain was blocked when we first got there, however, once we made the staff aware of the problems they were quick to respond.

The staff were very responsive to our requests when there were problems with our room. Maddie was particularly helpful with answering our questions about the best ski slopes, restaurants and transport routes. The breakfast was generous and there were ample refreshments all day to help yourself to.

On the less good side: the public areas, especially around the rooms are scruffy. The rooms are small, and the bathroom tiny. The self-check in was not particularly helpful as there was an issue getting into one of the rooms. It also felt pricey for what it is.

On the positive side, the room was clean, some of the staff were really friendly and the location, though a little outside the village centre was right by a bus stop and it didn't take long to walk in, anyway. Breakfast was also good.

We felt that two lighter sofa chairs were a bit dirty and cushions need replacing or cleaning. Tea/Coffee area looked messy, not very inviting and needed a good clean and re tidy. Once you go upstairs the hotel felt like a hostel. Really messy paintwork, old carpet, all landing area needed a clean and hoover. I know this paintwork effect can sometimes look retro and cool but this vibe isn’t created when an area is dirty. Ensuite bathrooms were awful, so full of damp/mould/mildew and terrible smell because of this. Shower curtains were dirty. Radiators in both rooms had constant dripping noise and weren’t big enough to put towels on so we then had damp smell of towels in bedroom too. Beds for me and my daughter were ok in 202, but my husband’s in 205 (Aspen) was really creaky with every move and he felt too small. The young men who worked there did not smile or give the impression they were staff at all, friendly enough when asked for more dishes but not welcoming. Maddie was excellent, very attentive and friendly, so willing to give information about slopes etc.

The Nant was very accessible with bus or easy walk. The communal area was welcoming, and had a cool friendly vibe. The dining room was light and airy, tables and chairs were good. Pool room very handy and a great idea.

No handsoap provided (so we just used the shower gel). No bedside lights and very few plug sockets.

Comfy clean beds, real coffee, warm pastries, easy going bilingual staff. We didn't use it, but the BBQ (with implements) looked useful. Plenty of outdoor seating. Bus stop right outside, but not too far to walk into town in the summer.

    everything was just fine.

Very good short stay (2 nights), Ryan-the-host is very nice person, helped with some stuff for me (e.g. advice on the bus transportation to Geneva). The room is very good, spacious, the bathroom is just fantastic, nice shower, everything is very clean, nice comfortable bed. Good wi-fi. A very good breakfast, no complaints here at all! A bus stop to got o the ski-lifts in just in front of the hotel! (it takes a bit of a loop for the bus to come back from the town center to the hotel, but it's still a rather short bus ride, no probs). No shops in the vicinity of the hotel, but this is a problem for the whole town, there are only a couple of big shops there. Having said this, it's a just a pleasant 15 minutes walk to the town center, thus not a problem at all, and there one has tons of restaurants, also those supermarkets. Overall - a very good value for money, would definitely stay there again! Thanks, Ryan, for keeping such a nice/homely place!

    Good value resort accommodation
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Budget Twin Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

The building is on a fairly main road - a little road noise - plus the building is old - so a few thin walls and wonky squeaky floors etc - Character and Patina one might call it... if you are there to ski or mtb you wont go wrong..if you are there to lounge in your room or sit about the hotel, you may want somewhere else

The Nant is more towards the Hostel end of accommodation - but don't let that put you off. Good breakfast, a warm welcome, comfy clean bedroom and a warm shower. What more do you need? Flat straight 10 min walk to centre or 2 min free regular bus from the door. Would not hesitate to stay again. Good value for money given its a ski resort. We had a great stay.
