How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room is so small. I know that its standart for europe 3 stars but it still not comfotable.
Location is perfect. The ability to park near railway station free of charge its very close to the hotel and you will save money. Breakfast is good enough . I recommend dont take this hotel i like that they have the option of small and big breakfast . Bed was good

Hotel not being up front on parking area. We asked about the garage parking, but the desk clerk said it wasn't available for some reason.
Location was great but hotel was transparent on parking. We had to park at train station about 1/4 mile away. Not the worst thing in the world, but we had a lot of rain when we stayed there.

Ideal location for seeing Arles - The Amphitheatre and Theatre and excellent for arriving by train and for taking river cruise from Arles. the Hosts were very hospitable. We only had a simple breakfast which was adequate for air requirements.

Would have liked tea, coffee making facilities in room. Room was fine for one person but would probably feel cramped with two people.
Very friendly and helpful staff in quiet, comfortable family run hotel.

The window blind would not go up. Room a bit dark. Though we could open window for fresh air.

Really enjoyed our stay ,but if I have a small complaint it would be that the bathroom was very small .The small breakfast was really good ,lovely fruit,mini croissants etc. and a great cup of tea . Served in a teapot!

As far as the room size is concerned, what you pay for is what you get.
Good location a short walk from the train. On the edge of the old town and right beside the mighty Rhone river. Friendly staff. Standard rooms are small but facilities are clean and the bed is comfortable. The paid breakfast is very comprehensive.

Nothing major just a wish for shelving in the shower
The location was amazing. Major grocery store was a two minute walk. Access to the train and buses five minutes away. Good restaurants were located right outside the hotel. Major sites less than five minutes away . The room was clean and the staff was very nice

Hotel in a perfect location on the edge of the old city, close to all the major sites, the river and parking areas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any queries. Added bonus having a safe deposit and fridge in the room and vending machines in foyer for out of hours drinks. Comfy bed and enjoyed the buffets breakfasts.

Unfortunately our room smelt a little damp when first entering but overcome by opening window. Room was on the small side but perfectly acceptable for a 2 night stopover.
Location was excellent for visiting the city by foot. Free car parking less than 5 minutes walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel clean and modern.

The room was quite nice, with a nice view to a park, a comfortable bed, and greatvshower. The staff, especially Louise were friendly and helpful, including the storage of my luggage for deversl hours after I checked out and before my ride oneard came. Elevator to 3d floor room was appreciated. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and a good value.

Wish there was a fan or window in the bathroom. also toilet was not filling with water until we turned the valve so it could flush. We never saw that before. Not a big issue, probably just needed adjustment.
