Trying to navigate to the destination is baffling due to one way system and confusing signage. The bedroom decor was a bit drab

The room and bathroom were very large. The staff are delightful. The full sized stuffed wild boar at reception is quirky and fun. Position is great

The decor was almost frightening, certainly bizarre with black bedspread and gold chairs. All very odd and over the top. Not restful. We had to open the window as there was no air con and the noise from the street traffic throughout the night was very loud. Also we could hear the station announcements from early in the morning.

The staff seemed very overworked running up and down stairs.The restaurant looked half empty but they said it was fully booked at 8.00 pm. We only booked with them as they had an onsite restaurant.On our journey through France so were quite disappointed that there was no restaurant service. It would have been helpful to have an option or an indication on the booking site to reserve a table.However there were several restaurants 5 mins up the street.With very good food and service.So it was fine.

The staff were very helpful.The breakfast was nice.They upgraded when I complained about my double bed when I had booked a twin bed.The hotel was a good location for an overnight stop not far from the motorway and easy to find.A bit run down but clean and comfortable bed and nice breakfast although a bit expensive at 10 euros.

We did not know tht we needed to book the car park in advance but luckily, there was space available few meters away from the hotel, opposite the train station.

the rooms are not soundproof - if the guest next door or the floor above had a shower, it was loud. not to mention people walking up and down the stairways or closing doors.

Breakfast was poor

Food was amazing, dinner in particular. Breakfast is disappointing. Rooms are okay but good size. Staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the decor!

it’s like going back to the 1970s, the room was really basic frankly I didn’t fancy much contact with the blankets on the bed. They do need to spend some money.

unexpected stay for us due to car breakdown en-route home from Italy. I'm happy to say that this hotel was an unexpected gem, and a lot better than expected for the cost. Really good communication upon booking. Very friendly and welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The guy running the reception desk was exceptional and went out of his way to help us with transport for the next day. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds and pillows comfortable, showers great and service excellent. Really good continental breakfast.
