Loved it all!

A retired architect owns the property and furnished it in her distinctive style. She is warm and welcoming, especially appreciated when I unexpectedly hurt my leg. I strongly recommend a stay here—and take a look at her website!

Location was well situated to explore the city and get to the train station on foot. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Fantastically central to central Nantes. Breakfast typically French but very adequate. Fabulous host in Marie-Claude.

We had to leave early at 10:30am instead of 12pm (which was stated on booking as the check-out time). Didn't get to do the things we had planned in those few hours before our flight due to this sadly but no big deal :) The host had planned to clean the room earlier than that but was gracious enough to give us until 10:30am so we could sort our luggage etc out.

The host waited up to give us our keys as our flight was late in, couldn't thank her more for doing so! Having breakfast prepared by the host was wonderful too. Really appreciated the effort she put in, it felt like being at home! And meeting other guests was lovely too :) Everything in the room was immaculate, we loved it! Probably one of the best places I've stayed :)

This is a comfortable old home with an up to date interior and contemporary decor. It is isolated from traffic and has a lovely terrace and walled garden where breakfast is served, weather permitting. The thoughtful host is a very interesting conversation partner.

Shower room is well-decorated and Shower works very well, but there is very little space. Would have liked a second towel.

There is no lift, therefore if you have a heavy luggage it is a problem to put it in the top floor room. The works were done on the facade at that time and the sounds of drilling did not let me to work properly during the day.

Perfect location to discover the city. Friendly host. Beautiful garden to have breakfast and relax.

Marie-Claude was very welcoming and so helpful when we arrived. She gave us maps of the city and described things we might want to visit. Our French was not fluent and she was very patient. Each day started with a lovely breakfast - homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, coffee or tea, etc. We felt as if we were at home!

The hostess was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. She looked after us. The location was perfect. Within short walking distance of all the sites, trams, bars and restaurants.

Beautifully appointed B&B in a perfect location by the castle and an easy walk from the train station. Large, comfortable room. Kind and helpful host. Delicious breakfast with homemade jams and yoghurt, warm croissants, fruit and fresh bread each morning in the garden. A very relaxing stay.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

we enjoyed talking to the Marie-Claire, the owner, who was a gold mine of information about Nantes and it’s history. the rooms were all pleasant, comfortable and modern while preserving their old world charm. parking in the courtyard was limited but available with advance notice and a little extra cost. breakfast was served family-style around the dining room table and the other guests were interesting to talk to. breakfast included home made yogurt and jams, fruit, croissants, coffee, etc. Marie-Claire has been running her B&B for a long time and she is a real “people person “. This was one of our nicest stays ever. Nantes was lovely, too, which added to the charm.

Very good location, perfect for someone who needs to stay close to the “Cité des Congrès”. The hostess is lovely and very welcoming, always willing to have a chat about the city. The room was calm, really comfortable and spacious. Great breakfast.

The parking was okay if you have a small car but a bit difficult to park with a big car.

Our host was very helpful in providing sightseeing advice and directing us to good restaurants. We enjoyed the art work on display and our host's knowledge of art. She did everything she could to make our stay comfortable.
