The location was fantastic and in a safe area. So much to see within walking distance of our apartment. The size of the apartment and that there was an elevator.

The apartment was clean and spacious. We were centrally located, with Metro right outside our door. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, which helped with dinner planning. I would highly recommend it if you stay one day or one week. I will stay here again when I next visit Lyon.

-location is just perfect. Metro A line 20m from apartament. Within 5min walk plenty of good restaurants - apartament was equipped with everything you may need ( hairdryer, oven, washing machine etc) - old building but with elevator - apartment was quiet however in summer with windows open you can probably hear some noise from restaurants nearby (apartament is on 5th floor)

It was all good. We found it hard to access the keys though as google maps wasn't working and the driver we had arranged could not pick us up. There was a music festival going on.

Location was great. No AC so had to leave windows open so noisy at night. Lots of bistros etc. nearby which was lovely...not so much at 2.00 in the morning though.

I do feel the apartment could benefit from air conditioning as it was really warm at night and needed the windows open, but as others had mentioned it is very noisy from bars below.

The apartment was in an excellent location and very close to amenities. Very good restaurants are only a short walk awayThe Metro is about a minutes walk. The apartment is on the 5th floor with a lift and in a very secure building. It is spacious, nice and light and had everything we needed. TV is a smart tv and so we were able to access our Netflix account. The hosts were were really quick to respond to any messages and they were very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and also when a certain airline cancelled our flight on the morning of departure!

The apartment over looked a narrow street full of bars which were very convenient if you wanted a drink but very noisy if you wanted to sleep. The windows were double glazed so if you closed them it was fairly quiet-but then on a summers evening a bit hot and stuffy. The apartment is heated but not cooled, though there is a portable fan.

The location was great, just around the corner from Rue de Republic the main thoroughfare on the peninsula. The apartment was spacious, sunny, very comfortable with a good bathroom, separate toilet and washing machine.

It has a lift, but five floors up is tougher if the lift breaks down. It was fixed quickly, however.

City centre location great ... very close to the Metro and buses. And close to restaurants and bars. Full of life, and so perhaps not for folks who want a quiet life.

As many other reviews have said, it was both noisy (directly above a street of late night bars) and hot which means I wouldn’t stay here again as we didn’t sleep well. Many places don’t have aircon in Lyon but I think this being an old building and right at the top made the temperature unbearable.

Really central location, only a few minutes walk from the metro and close to many attractions/restaurants. All the basic kitchen facilities and a large fridge meant it was fine for cooking simple food e.g. breakfasts. The host was helpful and friendly and helped us make a reservation for dinner in advance.

this is the street for teens & 20s to enjoy bars below so it was really loud till around 1:00 am. Saturday there was a really loud rock concert at the corner that started at 4:00 pm and lasted till midnight. Then the bars continued. then the bar staff (or some others) yelled for another half hour. there’s no AC so closed windows made the apartment stuffy. The noise was still offensive with the windows closed.

Nice apartment with elevator most of te way up. we enjoyed the place in the mornings. it’s very convenient to bus & métro. owner was super helpful!

The flat is in a central location but it did become very noisy at night as it’s near pubs/bars below. Although we stay up late and the bars became much quieter after around midnight, neighbours were noisy playing music and singing in the early hours. This is no fault of the apartment, we expect some noise in a residential area but it was difficult to sleep on the last evening (a Thursday) because of locals having parties until around 4am. The hot water in the shower did not last very long. We ended up sharing the shower as the water ran cold after 10 minutes.

The appartement is well situated in a good location, easy transport links (bus stop right outside) and in walking distance of main parts of Lyon; opera, bellecour etc. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen facilities, utensils and cleaning supplies as well as appliances. The design of each room is very contemporary and attractive, the shower was a large walk-in which was great. Check-in and collecting the keys was very easy with a friendly and helpful host.
