How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Antibes must be the Pizza capital of the world. It is very difficult not to eat pizza. Having said that, the pizza at the Collier restaurant was one of the best I have ever eaten.
Great location and excellent value for money. Excellent spot for the port, mainline trains and buses.

Just looks a little dated in parts .
Everything was as expected for a hotel in that location for that price , but what was a bonus was Jeremy and the other wonderful staff at reception. Noting was too much trouble . I will return .

Hotel worked perfectly for me to travel to a conference in Cannes as train station is very close. Staff were very helpful and there's a restaurant of the same name that I went to round the corner.

It looked a bit aged. It could do with some refurbishment of the facilities.
The beds were comfortable. It had underground parking space. The reception's furniture and the mural on the facade were very cool.

Proximity to everything! So clean, warm and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and only too happy to help with any queries. Great to have breakfast available at the hotel. All around great experience.

There were no negative points during my stay. I was made to feel very welcome all times, and any potential issues and questions I raised at the reception desk were handled very well.
Very friendly staff always helpful when responding to my questions. Good size room with all the facilities I needed. Location very close to the centre of town and port. Continental breakfast well presented and enjoyable.

The free toiletries are pretty low quality so bring your own if that's something important to you, but having any free toiletries is still a bonus. I would've appreciated if there was information about parking before check-in, you need to check-in first to get the code to access the garage. This was fine but was just a little confusing when I first arrived.
Room is as expected for the price, clean, and I really appreciated the electric kettle and tea/coffee packets in the room. Staff was very friendly and spoke English.

Parking garage was very tight and poorly lit. Shower is difficult for those with mobility issues. Associated restaurant isn’t open Sunday and Monday. Road noise in the seaside view rooms made sleeping difficult.

Ideal for exploring Antibes - so close to the station and an easy walk down to the main town. We made a last minute booking and they were really helpful in accommodating for a member of our party with mobility issues, with super speedy responses to questions. Super customer service.

Very close to the train station, nice view to the harbor if you are lucky and get a room with a sea view, clean, very nice lady at the reception, 10-15 walking minutes away from the old town.

The shower is fairly small, if you are a bigger person, this could be uncomfortable.
