The hosts were kind, friendly and could speak english fluently, the room was spatious and comfortable overall. The structure had a big common hall with board games and some snacks with coffe or tea. There's a beautiful view from the window of some fields with horses and also a little area outside with a table and chairs that we couldn't enjoy because of rain. We had a problem with a trip and the host kindly helped us solve it.

We enjoyed the very authentic breakfast -fresh fruits, delicious baguettes with homemade conserves (made with from fruit from the community orchard.), whilst sitting on the veranda enjoying the views across fields. Our hosts were delightful and very interesting. They kindly organised a supper for us on our first evening at an intriguing local restaurant. The property has been renovated carefully and thoughtfully, providing all modern facilities within the context of an old mill set in beautiful countryside. Will return soon hopefully!

Idyllic quiet location and most charming and helpful hosts we ever met. A lovely room with modern ensuite. The kitchen was well equipped and saved money eating in and dining room was enormous shared with one other room. Also a lovely table outside to ourselves and several places to sit in garden. The breakfast served personally by hosts was on a lovely terrace with countryside views and delicious. All our needs were attended to so thank you Beryl and Vincent. Also very dog friendly sky. Dont hesitate just book as won’t be unhappy.

This is a beautiful historic property lovingly restored and cared for. Hosts were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. A tranquil part of the French countryside. Breakfast was phenomenal served outdoors overlooking the flower filled gardens adorning this ancient stone mill house.

Very nice property suitable for people with car . The place is super clean , comfortable, with provided kitchen and all the stuffs needed. French Breakfast is delicious. Welcome drinks are provided . Most important is the wonderful owners with the best hospitality who go beyond their duties and provide us useful information . This is definitely the best lodging we stayed for the whole trip. Definitely will stay here again if we are in this area again. 👍🏾😁🤗

Stunning location and a beautiful property and garden. The breakfast was super fresh and delicious and the owners were so very helpful. The beauval zoo is around 30 mins away and the château is about 10 mins away.

Veronica and Vincent were perfect hosts. They made us feel so welcome, and gave us some great advice for our stay in the area. Vincent’s breakfast was so fresh and tasty as well. Highly recommend that you stay here!

We should have stayed longer!

We spent 2 weeks in France and this was by far the best place we stayed in. When we visit France again, the Moulin de Bourg will be on our list. Vincent and Veronica were so hospitable, welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to assure that we were comfortable and had what we needed. The history of the Moulin de Bourg is fascinating and Vincent and Valerie have done so much to beautifully restore it. The breakfasts were amazing! They served homemade jam and homemade yogurt along with the rest of the delicious breakfast. They spent much time giving us suggestions about what to see and visit in the area. Everything they provided was above and beyond. The room and common room were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided and more. This B&B was situated in a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere yet close enough to be able to spend the day touring the chateaus.

Beautiful house in an equally beautiful location. Vincent made us feel right at home and even leant us bikes so we could cycle to a local chateau. Cannot recommend it enough!
