Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GreeceWiFi is not free. The first day the water was not so hot but it was fixed.
Daily cleaning of the room and that is very good. The location is near to Bercy station if you come by bus because it's very comfortable to move. A few meters from the Hotel there is a Metro station which you can go to many famous places in Paris like Eiffel tower. The area is good. You can find markets 🛒, bakery 🥖 and coffee ☕ very close to you. Also there is a street market often in this area with many good things to find. The guys at the reception are very friendly. I recommend it if you want to spend some beautiful days in Paris.

United KingdomCould have done with a kettle in the room to be honest.
What a lot of moaning minnies doing reviews on here. I liked the hotel, it had character, not like the boring old Ibis, Holiday Inn and other soulless places. The staff were pleasant with me, especially the old boy showing me a photo of the hotel. It has been a hotel for at least 100 years I think. The bed was very comfortable. Go if you want a Parisienne, family owned old hotel with unmodernised charm. Go to an Ibis if you want a hotel room the same as London, Berlin, or anywhere else in the world. I'm bored of them.

CanadaVery small room, tiny shower stall that needs repair. Very minimal breakfast. It’s obviously a budget hotel however, I would shop around for something else even if that means travelling with the metro from further out of the heart of the city.
Friendly staff, good location to subway.

United KingdomWe have to ask you to correct your written information in the booking form. The form said that the total price indicated was exactly what we would be asked to pay , but that was not correct. The taxe de sejour was not included and it caused a disagreable argument with the manager/owner as he said we were making up what the form said in Engish..(though he could read and understand English). It is not an expensive added cost, but it is annoying to find this out on the day of arrival, especially as the receptionist added wrongly the last breakfast (x3 ) that we did not order. Bus stop a fair walk away, could be a problem for some clients.
Clean room and comfortable bed. My room was quiet, but my daughter's not so, and the light of the hotel name panel lit outside by her window was very bright and she needed to cover the window to sleep better.

Family run hotel. The owner is charming. Really good value for the price. Location is good. Not far from the metro, which is the best way to travel in Paris. Close to the Village de Bercy, which is a must visit location. The breakfast is also good value.

SerbiaThe hotel doesn't have a lift, so if you have lots of baggage, try to get a room on the lower floors. The hotel will charge your card as a reservation, but you still have to pay at the reception, and cancel the initial card charge. I'm still waiting for the money to be deposited back into my account.
The hotel has a good location, near metro stations for lines 6 and 8. The room was small but comfortable enough.
