How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It was very positive experience for us. Staying first time in an apartment. We were impressed by the clearness. Kitchen is equipped with branded devices and all the necessary. Thanking to Céline for the warm welcoming and hospitality (and for the great work behind).

The only things missing were a chopping board and a better quality hairdryer.
We were very pleased. The apartament is spacious and in a great location. On top of that it is really well equipped, we found everything we needed during our few days stay in Reims. The apartament was very clean so it was a pleasure to spend time there and Mrs Celine was very polite and helpful.

It is not in the centre, but if You like to take a walk- it is in perfect silent street

Nothing I didn’t like. One thing I would like to mention it is not always easy to find a parking spot.
The apartment is very quiet, very close to downtown. It is clean, spacious, well furnished with everything you would need.

It was absolutely perfect for a weekend exploring Reims itself and the surrounding Champagne area. The flat was really clean, great kitchen and bathroom facilities, was walkable to Reims centre and had street parking nearby. Convenient little supermarket and boulangerie nearby as well as fuel station within 5 minutes drive. Celine greeted us upon arrival with the keys and was so friendly and helpful with her recommendations on where to eat and visit. Lovely little touches of Reims Rose biscuits and complimentary orange juice in the fridge that go a long way. I would definitely love to return to Reims and to the apartment.

The street is quite noisy so you can't leave the windows open, so it can get quite hot at night in the bedroom.
Very spacious apartment. All the amenities you need. Very clean and modern finishes. The host, Celine was very friendly, gave us great recommendations and was very accommodating with an early check in and late check out.

Everything was perfect!
The apartment is very spacious, very clean. It is equipped with absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay. We were greeted with very tasty pink biscuits and orange juice. Thank you very much, Celine!! I recommend this accommodation!!

The street was a bit noisy at night. Parking in the street is a bit of a challenge.
The apartment is just right for 2 persons, on the first floor. It is very bright with all necessary equipment. There is a great bakery at 5 minutes walk. We were greeted with 2 boxes of pink biscuits

Unfortunately the street, or rather the entire city, suffers from the issue of parking. For those who rent a car to visit the cellars are likely to drive around a lot to find a parking space.
Celine was an excellent host. Attentive, sweet and empathetic. We really liked the apartment, well equipped, very close to the center of Reims.

It was a hot day. I would recommend to add a fan to the the facilities. You can open the windows, but this can be a little noisy at times.
Very spacy, almost everything we needed was there, clean, even some consumables: coffee, tea, cookies, water, fruit juice, pepper, salt etc.

Nothing - a few pictures as a little stark but just an observation
property was very large and exceptionally clean and very well stocked. Good location to the old town about 10-15 min walk and a couple of the Champagne Houses. Free parking in the surrounding roads. Host very polite and helpful.

The apartment could maybe benefit from a rug & pictures, looked a bit bare. There is some road noise but overall ok.
Good sized modern apartment, excellent bathroom with large shower, large - though quite firm - bed, good kitchen layout, comfortable sofa, lots of storage space. TV & wi-fi ok. Fairly close to Reims centre, 15-20 minute walk. Helpful host who spoke very good English. We enjoyed our stay there.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!
The landlady was so polite, she provided to us the keys onsite when we arrived. She recommended us places to visit as well as restaurants. She even provided a link with the most important wine cellars to visit. When we entered the apartment we found a couple of the famous pink cookies packages as a welcome gift. That was very kind! We definitely recommend it! We had a great stay.

Very nice flat in walking distance to downtown. Equipped with everything we needed. Spacious for us as a finally with two little kids. Sofa bed is very big. The host is very kind and hospitable. Great stay.
