The accommodation is a bit small/narrow with the bedroom and shower facilities upstairs. We had to leave our bulky/heavy luggage downstairs and only bring up key items due to the narrow stairs. Even then there wasn't much room to open two suitcases. Accessing the toilet was also a bit challenging , especially in the middle of the night. We also only had one towel and found the pillows very flat but all of these were fairly minor issues. Overall we had a good stay - our thanks to Yvan for hosting us!

The accommodation was nice, clean and generally comfortable. There were detailed instructions for check in and check out. All the key facilities (kitchen, bathroom, toilet, washing machine, wifi etc) were there and in working order - efficiently laid out given the small space. The host was also responsive, patient and helpful (especially when I didn't read the check-in instructions properly/in full!)

I did not end up staying at this property. I went around 10 PM to check-in, it's in an old-style French building. The entry was fine, ended up collecting the keys and then the entrance to the apartment is from a court area. The area was "pitch dark" that night. There was a store's backdoor and some employees were drinking. The overall experience seemed very hostile and unsafe for a solo traveler like myself, and I ended up booking a Radisson nearby. I really hope that they put some lights and CCTV cameras in that area. I ended up paying almost 2.5x of the original amount another hotel to crash at the night. I really hope I get a refund from booking.com for this stay.

Since we were aware of every little drawback, like narrow stairs and a bit noisy heater unit, it didn't bother us at all.

Location, cleanliness, quality of kitchen tools and etc. everything was great. Our host was also very helpful and we dropped our luggage a couple of hours before check-in time, took some tour around without burden.

No bath towel for one person. Workmen doing serious work within 2 metres of front door starting at 7.30 am . Not enough hot water for two showers . The only table for eating by was totally unstable

It's an extremely weird and uncomfortable converted apartment. The windows all face into the courtyard that is loud from renovations and also restaurant staff use it for chilling until fairly late. It's not possible to leave the window open and so even when it's pretty cold at night (10-15) the apartment was stuffy and I had to use aircon. The owners treat you as a child/criminal/idiot because there's warning signs everywhere. I didn't attempt to use the kitchen facilities so can't comment on them. Maybe if you have the lowest expectations or pay <€50 this might be worth it.

The bed was comfortable and the apartment was close to Part Dieu train station as well as some bars and restaurants.

- price is too high for the place, - relatively far from the touristic places, - not "zen" - not comfortable bed (several layers of simple mattresses, super bad view from the window, simple equipment. Not sure why it's called "zen", - smell of French fries from the local restaurant, - no designed place to put your coats, - too many instructions, messages, printed information here and there on surfaces with limits and responsibilities (like, you have to do this and that, "you have to leave everything as clean as it was". Does it mean I have to wash the floors etc?). - not possible to leave the flat without keys (you have to open the common door with a key, but there is only 1 key for a couple), - checkin after 15 and checkout at 11 making the stay shorter, - toilet and a sink (with a soap next to it) are on different floors.
