Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location, very good facilities for wheelchair user, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast included. Room cleaning excellent. Comfortable and spacious room.

Breakfast was excellent a big selection and very tasty. Location was excellent, within walking distance to all sites of interest and restaurants. As it’s on a main road it is nosy but that’s to be expected. Considering the price it was excellent value for money. Like that they had maps you could tear off and use at reception

IrelandStayed in last week of March when temperatures got to 28 degrees. Room very hot, when enquired about AC or a fan was advised it was still winter so heat system was on. Given option of moving rooms so we could open windows but without street noise - but had tours booked that day so didn’t have time to pack so opted to stay in original room. When we came back on our last night, we found the AC was on and we had a lovely cool room.
Location is perfect, easy walking distance to main areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Good setup at breakfast to ensure day starts off well

LatviaIt was stuffy in the room during the hot day and air conditioning was not activated in the hotel at that time but we were able to open the window, would not consider as a negative here. All the rest was good.
Great location and very friendly personal. They do offer to park the car in the garage close to the hotel and let us to keep the baggage in the reception after the check out. Good enough variety of the breakfast offer and close to the main tourists streets.
