The price. Normally, it's £43 for a room, but the price was bumped to up £205 due to the Springsteen gig. But only what every other hotelier was doing, I know. But I expected a better flusher on the toilet for that price and some toiletries in the shower area. Also, the sink was cracked, and the shelf above it was on a slant, so your products hit the sink below, which was probably why it was cracked. Basic room, certainly not worth £205 but it did the job and probably one of the cheaper places that night. Would have been nice to have the issues mentioned above sorted if you are going to charge 4 star prices

Great location for the Springsteen gig across the river at the Principality stadium. It was a very basic room, but it was nice and quiet.. TV worked and bed comfy. Used the communal wash area, and that was better than the room en suit facilities. Self-service check was easy. Good communication with the Aaron Wise company prior to check-in. Probably would only stay again for its location. But was adequate for a one night stay and wasn't expecting much anyway.

I had to source my own toilet roll The removable part of shower hose was missing The bed stead was wobbly and had extra bits holding it up Bruce was on so heavily overpriced for accommodation you got. I think given the price tag if a little of that was put back in it has potential to be a great place to stay

Kitchen smelled strongly of smoke. Bathroom shower had poor pressure and took ages to get temperature right. It did cold or scalding. A little difficultly getting the codes for the room, but staff provided in time for arrival.

Large clean studio on first floor. Separate bathroom and small kitchen. Plenty of towels provided. Kitchen container microwave, kettle, toaster and hotplate, so perfect for self catering. Great location minutes from the centre of Cardiff. Constant hot water.

its a nonsmoking room but you can still smell the smoke in the room and its a basement so you cant really air the place. There were little space to hang clothes, could use more hangers/hooks.

One low point was the fact the shower was leaking. Not a deal breaker but the fact the thing was dripping all night would have really put a downer on an otherwise fine stay. (We ended up putting a towel under the drip so as to deaden the noise)

Easy to book, the code entry was helpful and worked fine. It was nice to have a microwave and electric hob provided (Not that we used it.) The fact it was all automated with no need for a physical check in process to access the premises or the room was a godsend. The codes that were auto sent to my phone worked first time so all was peachy.

Walls little thin. Shower water far to hot & hard to regulate. Little mold in shower grout. Handle on kitchen window was hard to access (if your short) duvet too narrow, they did not have much hang over side of bed. & no spare blanket. (My bed little too soft) Had to manually control TV, as no remote.

Great value for money. Lovely accommodation. Super Location. Helpful & polite staff. Easy keyless access. Shower & hand soap was provided. Towels super soft. Kitchenette had everything needed for a comfortable self catering short stay. Would be my go to place if I visited Cardiff again.

The only one downside is that on my floor there was a side toilet which unfortunately was blocked with poo and lool roll and did not flush wasn't a pleasant thing to see. But other tolet Was clean and functional.

It's pretty good place to stay for the night with my experience. Very close to the city center 10 min Walk. It was very quiet which made my sleep good the room and bathroom was very clean. Like that the single room have nice clean fresh sheets and towels and loo roll. The radiator was a nice welcome addition it came in clutch for yesterday where I was drenched from the strange weather. Like the included kettle with the coffee in the room was decent to wake me up. The checking in was very easy todo and quick. The staff was very nice and helpful to extend my check out time. The shower was hot which I'd very nice water pressure is okay had a nice decent shower. Honestly it was very good for the price and somewhere to sleep for the night. First time in whales and it was nice. Happy to sleep here again.

I kept messaging the host/staff on the booking.com app looking for assistance, I even emailed them but nobody responded to me. I was cold all of first night and was hoping to get assistance with a 2nd blanket for my 2nd night but I received no help. I needed an iron for my clothes the next day and messaged but again received no response. As great as it was having the tea supplies, it was saddening that only sugar was provided as someone who does not take sugar but absolutely loves a cup of tea. It would have been great having sweeteners and non sugar options for inclusivity. I have never stayed away in an airbnb/hostel/lodge that would make me pay to keep my bag for my last day. It seems courteous to me to that after staying 2 nights, the host would just keep my bag in the office/storage area but teh host required pay on the day for that feature. We could easily be charged an extra £1/2 when booking initially to incorporate this feature, I didn't understand the purpose of paying especially given the bag gets stored only up to 5pm.

I liked the location, a couple of minutes walk into the city center. I enjoyed the room and privacy. I met a couple of housemates during my stay and it was lovely engaging with them, kind people. I enjoyed the tea supplies the team provided, great to have some great tea after a long travel into a foreign city.
