Comfortable , warm and very clean. Superb breakfasts. Made very welcome by both hosts who were well informed about the area. Beautiful garden. Also handy if you need a hairdresser.

Was lovely and clean The hosts are very friendly and can’t do enough for you Would highly recommend! Also they are busses at the end of the road that go to all the main tourist spots. There’s a nice pub a few doors down as well

the only problem was the steepness of the stairs first night were on second floor where the stairs were very steep we were then offered a room on first floor which was fine

my wife has cancer and we just wanted to get away stayed in b and b as didnt want dinner included as my wife has very poor appetite the Hosts were very good everything was very clean towel changed daily unfortunaliy we had to cut our holiday short by two day as my wife was feeling quite unwell in restraunt cutlery and china very clean the breakfast was great

There was not anything we did not like perhaps our shower was a little temperamental.

Breakfast was great, cereal, full English, toast and tea/coffee.if you wanted anything else Sharon would oblige you. Great location for shops, The Ship Inn is up the street, we went twice for an evening meal. Buses and train very exceptional.

Room was relatively small, plugs were hard to access and there was no desk, which I normally would use a great deal for my work. As I enjoy my peace and quiet, having a tv on all the time at Breakfast was not ideal, and one Guest insisted to telling his life story every morning, which I found hard to take. However I do understand I was not the only Guest.

Ossie and Sharon are a very pleasant couple, who did their best to ensure that I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was always good, although a little early in the morning for me. As there was no desk in the room, I was always allowed to use my laptop in the dining area. The location was excellent, close to the seafront, bus connections to the town centre, Torquay and Newton Abbot, and there was a reasonable Pub and a Sports Bar practically next door. Bed was large and comfortable. Town Centre could be reached in around 15 minutes on foot, and the internet worked well both in the bedroom and the dining area.

Only downside was the bathroom was very small but the room was perfect.

Mattress on bed was very hard couldn't seem to get comfy in bed .

I didn’t realise how close to the beach this place was! Comfy, firm bed. The two hosts were so friendly and helpful. A fantastic pit stop.
