Location was ideal. We were a group of four golfers and you could see the East Links from the garden! We were out most of the day & the accommodation had everything we needed as a base. The walk into town is only 20 minutes and is across a golf course and down the beach, which is great. Very near to a big tesco (with fuel) and LIDL. Only 20mins drive to Dunbar or Gullane in the other direction

Didn't dislike anything if I had to be picky could do with a small freezer and a fan in the attic room as it gets very warm. It is a slight walk into town only 20/25 Minutes I'd say but there are 2 routes you can go my favourite was the coastal path, there are buses which you can get which we did a couple of times but this didn't effect our stay and would stay again.

Everything, it was perfect. The views are exceptional and breathtaking. Clean cosy cottage. Beds and couch are extremely comfortable. The host are friendly and very helpful the biscuits and wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Plenty space and storage. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely little house in a stunning area. Perfect for golfers (which we are not) but also nature lovers (which we are). Lots of nice visits and observations to do in the area.

Lovely cottage clean and comfy with everything that was needed . Sits in a beautiful location looking over the sea with the Bass Rock to the right the Law Hill in view and North Berwick to our left. The views were fantastic andna great walk into town and back along the seashore. Lovely treats left on arrival just to start our few days away .

I can't think of anything we disliked. It was all great, certainly one of the best places we have stayed in

It was fantastic. The cottage could not have been better - it was very clean, spacious, comfortable, full of character with incredible sea views, especially beautiful at sunset. My friend and I loved it and we had everything we could possibly have needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were also plenty of streaming services on the TV to keep us entertained in the evenings. The location was also excellent and we made use of the nearby Tesco, buses and taxis. The birdwatching opportunities were also amazing and it was wonderful seeing and hearing so many beautiful birds in the area immediately around the cottage each day. The communication with the Host was also easy and everything was so convenient and well organised

The only very tiny niggle was that my partner and I are quite tall and we did have to bend a bit in the upstairs room. Not really an issue as mainly used for sleeping. No freezer, but we didn’t miss it - meant we ate our ice creams out and about.

Cottage was larger than expected and had everything we needed and more. Comfy, clean, nicely decorated. Great for family stay. Would recommend.

my only suggesting would be for the owner to install a small handrail near the door of the bathroom to assist anyone getting in and out of the bath and would also protect the glass shower screen.

Fantastic location overlooking The Glen Golf Course in North Berwick. lovely cottage and well equipped. Nice and friendly neighbours and good parking. Ideal for golf holidays.

The can opener! 😒😒😒 A manual one is preferable for Ijits like me.

Lovely view from the cottage across the Links to the sea especially from the upstairs! Great facilities although we could not figure how to use the hands free can opener. Beds were very comfy and lots of toys for kids big and small. Tesco and Aldi a very short drive away. If you want to eat out in N Berwick you definitely need to book. My daughter and I loved the boat trip around Bass Rock etc to see the bird life and also we recommend both Hugh and Charlie from the Highland Experience Tour. Take the optional boat trip down Loch Ness too. On rainy days we took the train into Edinburgh for the museums and galleries. Altogether a fab holiday and Rhodes Cottage made it exceptional. Thank you Richard for a charming place to stay. I thoroughly recommend you stay here.
