Difficult to change the layout of the house I understand, as the bathrooms to both bedrooms are downstairs - but we managed fine. The mattresses in both rooms could be updated to memory foam which would make it much more comfortable.

We liked the comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen. The location was great close to the beach and only a short drive from Freshwater and Brighstone. We also liked the quiet location and the setting near big trees. There was lots of information there on the history of the village and the surrounding attractions.

The amount of utensils, cleaning products and essentials (washing up liquid, toilet roll, towels, bedding) etc was really superb and made the stay so much easier. The host was very welcoming, full of excellent information and super helpful. Would absolutely love to come and stay again.

Location of bathrooms was a little awkward and stairs are quite narrow. We came with an elderly relative who found these very difficult to navigate, although she did manage to make herself comfortable downstairs.

Plenty of living space, well equipped kitchen, amazing location and very accommodating owner. Couple of issues were rectified promptly.

The location was stunning, with beautiful walks for our 2 German Shepherds and the beach 5 min walk away and the cottage was warm and cozy with a very large secure garden

Damp, mouldy smelling shower room/toilet off the living room that ran with moisture down the walls after use. Inadequate ventilation of this bathroom due to an inefficient extractor fan. This resulted in the living room feeling damp and needing ventilating.

Quiet rural location not far from the beach. Good pub that you could walk to from the property. Tourist information available. Good parking. We enjoyed staying in Brook.

I would have preferred slightly warmer water in the showers - but this was a minor issue.

Sarah was there to greet us with a welcoming smile. The location was quiet and peaceful, there was a small beach 5 minutes walk away and the village pub was 10 -15 mins walk away. All the activities we wanted were a short drive away. The annexe had everything we needed and the rooms were all good sizes.

The wooden chairs in the kitchen needed seat pads.

We loved the whole annexe, plenty of room. All mod cons. Was lovely having a washing machine, basket , pegs and an out door line and an indoor airer. Everything was thought of. Absolutely loved it and the outside space was amazing. Highly recommend and a countryside location.
