Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI didn't use the shower but it was a fixed head shower. The main issue for the top floor room we were in, was what appeared to be wasps. A few came in through the windows, which I had to annoyingly get out, which we didn't want to close because it was too warm, so perhaps there was a nest near to which may need looking into.
Helpful and friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room with big windows, a 5 minute car journey or 20 minute walk from The Lowry where we were going to an event and a nice breakfast where there was a good view and plenty of tables so you didn't feel on top of others. Overall it was great value and I would stay again.

United KingdomThe walls are so thin. All the doors bang when closing. I had to sleep with ear plugs and still heard banging until 3am some nights. I asked to be moved to a top floor room which marginally improved this problem but could still hear a lot of noise including coughing next door to me.
Location was perfect for my training weekend in Salford. Also tram right outside to get to central Manchester. Very convenient

United KingdomThe taps for the bath did not function - normally I would not have noticed this, but as I was in town for an aerial & acrobatics convention I was looking forward to soaking my sore muscles in a hot bath! The shower was very powerful, but unfortunately the water temperature seemed to fluctuate wildly between hot-ish and tepid (even when dialled up to the max temperature).
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a view over the docks. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of hot and cold food to choose from. Staff were very accommodating and allowed me to check in slightly before the official check-in time as I'd arrived an hour early. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated having a fridge in the room.

United KingdomIf I had to nit pick, the hot tap got immediately hot so I had to wash my hands with cold water all the time, I would recommend a mixer tap in the bathroom. Also there is the option to make the room bright with the lighting when it’s dark.
Location was ideal for The Lowry, just a 10/15 minute walk. Staff were helpful whenever I needed help. Room was clean and comfortable and very spacious.

United KingdomTelevision was on when we arrived,but then went off and could not get it to go back on. However we were only stopping for 1 night. No main light in the bedroom area but 2 very nice lamps,one that was not working. If we were staying longer we would have mentioned this. All staff were very approachable so feel sure it would have been corrected. All but 1 window locked shut.We did have a fan to compensate but would have liked to control the airflow ourselves
