For the amount of money paid a night, there was a level of expectation that was never quite reached. No added extras, one bottle of water in the room and that was your lot which was somewhat disappointing when you can go to basic accommodations and you have tea/coffee biscuits at your own convenience. Absolutely everything was at added cost, even cooked breakfast in the morning which was a real sore point for us, extra on top of the standard continental which was okay at best. It’s also alarming how much the security deposit is, I appreciate something has happened for you to set it as such but that was honestly another ick hanging over our heads for the entire stay, it’s a shame that the actions of a few have clearly lead to this extreme measure. Not sure we’d come again based on these factors which is a shame, feel as though it’s a good offering for a special occasion but offers nothing to make patrons feel special rather than being a blatant money printing machine. Thing is we would have happily spend the extra in the bar/restaurant/room service but felt as though they were trying to siphon money out of us at every opportunity rather than letting their product do the work/speaking for them which is definitely less appealing in my view.

Room was lovely, copper baths a real novelty! Did enjoy our night in the restaurant, real ambience which translated into the bedroom.

Room service would be nice and possibly more spa facilities/ options as there’s not a lot to do at the hotel.

Massages were nice. Decor was lovely. Staff were extremely helpful in making the whole trip a surprise for my partner. I sent parcels the week prior to be left in our room on arrival they were so great and set them up for me. They also suggested a balloon artist who did an a lovely set up for us. Trip wouldn’t have been half as good without the staff so thank you to all the people at Crazy Bear that assisted so grateful to you all.

We were given a room above the front door which proved to be very noisy at peak time. When we commented on it the staff very kindly moved us to another room.

Nothing about property all excellent - I would suggest altering the bar policy of having to sign to pay for drinks at every individual order for residents - it’s a bit wearing when you are using the facilities. Just run a tab and sign in one go

The room was too dark, and the copper bath looked awful ! Which was the main focal point of the room. Different products need to be used.... once done, this is a fabulous place to go to stay.

Only two small issues with this hotel. The restaurant is slightly overpriced and I also think that the rooms would benefit from tea and coffee making facilities.

The staff, decor and overall experience was lovely. The room was very clean and nicely designed. I would recommend staying here.
