One Downside to the rooms is that there wasn't a socket beside the mirror that I could plug my hairdryer into! A covered walkway from the main hotel to the rooms in The Cottage would also be a good idea for rainy Scottish days.

Stayed for 1 night. Room was located in 'The Cottage' and was lovely. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, so much so, I wish I knew where I could purchase them for my own bed. The staff were excellent, very professional, and attentive. We booked dinner on arrival, and it was delicious. The portions were great value. I ordered a Vegi breakfast, which was, again, delicious and great value. I'd love to have stayed another night.

a little later for the evening meal cut off and then having to argue with the duty manager that I had got my times wrong when I was told that as long as I ordered before 9 pm I would be ok , she eventually relented and I was allowed some food , I was offered if I wanted a take away on would be arranged which personally I thought was wrong as I didn't want to sit there eating takeaway food in a hotel bar so that annoyed me even more a nice gesture but not for me

breakfast excellent , was annoyed about the evening meal situation , 8.30 was too early to have a cut off

The lighting was poor at the desk area (as I was working) so a lamp on the desk would have resolved that. As the rooms were separate from the hotel the phone in the room did not contact reception so had to use the hotel number from my phone.

The location was beautiful and the rooms were very modern and clean. I liked that I had an outdoor space, which would have been nice in the summer. The food was lovely.

Clearly state if room will be on ground floor on upstairs. I struggle with stairs and thought I had booked correctly yet ended up on first floor apartment

Main bar and restaurant areas all beautifully and thoughtfully designed to give a high end feel. Reception staff especially lovely.

The Breakfast was a bit of a let down to be honest, bacon was tasteless and sausage was obviously not from a butchers. Very dissapointed.

We couldn't work out how to get the shower to not be scalding hot! But we got there eventually!

The rooms are clean and cosy. Very comfortable! We attended a wedding and booked to stay over and everything was great. The breakfast was definitely what we needed after the night before! Prices are reasonable behind the bar.

Sleeping was extremely difficult because of an overly large green light on the smoke detector on the ceiling and a security light just outside the bedroom. For me it was just too bright for comfortable sleep.

Dead wasp on windowsill when we arrived and discovered another on the carpet when we packed up to leave next morning. Lighting in the bathroom over mirror not great. Walls paper thin so could hear music and conversation from next door room. Outside spiral staircase to room not very convenient - awkward to carry suitcases up and down.

Great breakfast and good sized portions. Plenty of parking. Good location for onward travel to Skye. Nice room
